  • Good Morning, Group. I've spent the last two weeks traveling, and it's not gone well for my waistline or my goals. Traveling is one thing, but being accountable while a guest in someone else's home, eating food someone else shops and cooks is tough. Still, I'm home, and back on track. HW - 188.8 GW - 160 Round 211 goals:…
  • Happy New Year! Here's to a healthy, positive 2023. SW:187.4 Day/Weight/Comment I’m late starting this challenge. My last holiday guests just got on the plane. It’s been a chaotic holiday season. Looking for a re-set. I’ve been unhappy with where I”m at for quite some time, so back to MFP. I badly need to de-sugar,…

  • I have to stop waiting to take photos until I look better. I'm afraid when I die there will be no photographic evidence that I lived because I've refused to be in photos for so many years! I also need to stop wishing for a quick fix. Wishful thinking does not help. Consistent behavioral choices and changing some habits…
  • I have logged my food for 28 straight days, including through 8 family events in the last six weeks, and a plateau (perhaps induced by the 8 family events), is a huge step forward for me. I have learned that consistency is key, as is persistence when I feel stuck. Plateau broke yesterday.
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES I have completely fallen off the radar in the last week. Incredibly difficult week. I'm back as of yesterday. So no winner's circle for me, but just getting back here is a win.

  • What a tough week. By Friday, I almost gave up. I had good progress until this week when everything appeared to go off the rails, personally and professionally. I've managed to track anyway. Some of the last four days stayed in my calories OR exercised. Today's goal, to get back on track.

  • Thank you, Malted Tea. We've managed to have a building full of students and staff relatively safely, but it's been a daily stressor -- and I need to quit stress eating! Looking forward to more positive structure!
  • Hi Everyone. I used MFP in 2018 and had some success. I have not been kind to my aging body during the pandemic. I'm a school principal, so it's been an extremely stressful time the last 9 months. I've been back at school, full time in-person since August, which is better, but also stressful. Tomorrow is my 60th birthday,…
