@finngirl61 and @Laughter_Girl Thank you for your encouragement... I certainly needed it today! Sometimes my inner negative self talk sits in the front row!

Age: 55 Height: 5'8" SW- 257.2 (12.28.20) MSW- 243.4 (2.28.21) 3/14- 242.6 Ugh... not great for 2 weeks but still a loss. I will try to eat closer to my calorie goal and not keep undercutting. I am a stubborn, slow learner here! One good thing is that I continue to lose inches. My waist has gone from 42" when I started to…

@uyister You amaze me! You work so hard and it certainly shows in meeting your goals! Great job.

@holdthefries I have definitely been in the clean out, organize, and downsize mode. It is very liberating! Always nice to make some extra money selling things that are no longer useful around here and donating feels good, too.

@speyerj I am 55 years old and realizing that I have never had a healthy relationship with food. My mother had bulemia nervosa and was very thin during my childhood. My father was a physician and her weight was not a problem to him as long as she was thin and beautiful. After they divorced, her disease got worse. It makes…

@lindseydennison8 Don't be scared to post your weight or measurements here. You are brave and courageous to show that vulnerability and it is helpful to others who read and need inspiration. Good job!

@happy_healthy_rose I am very sorry to hear about your mom, I know it is very difficult. I lost mine when I was 22. I think 9 pounds is doable and it sounds like you have a good plan! Welcome.

6- Fear of success 9-Skipping meals Wow... these are right on the money and hit a vulnerable spot. I don't think I am afraid of success as much as failure but as I am seeing results, this thought is calming down. I have had some not so great thoughts about food all my life. Skipping meals: I have thought that less calories…

@goal06082021- I thought it had to do with the Switch. My daughter was talking about that this week. It sounds like a fun way to get some exercise and something my daughter and husband might enjoy, too! I will look into it! Thanks.

@goal06082021 What is Ring Fit Adventure- story mode?

Mayonaise Cheese Nuts I used to eat sammies with mayo and cheese all the time, willy nilly. Now that I know what they cost calorie wise, I opt for meat( turkey usually) rolled up with horseradish sauce and a dill pickle stacker. I really enjoy my food more, now, because I make everything with intention.

@speyerj Another great post from you! Your insights are spot on and much appreciated. Patience is something I struggle with. My body does not respond to exercise alone, for weight loss. Up until 1.5 years ago, I was an open water endurance swimmer. I really did not lose weight. When I started to gain girth going through…

@goal06082021.. Sounds like doing the dishes 21 days straight is a win! Do not be so hard on yourself. That sounds like progress. We must remember to be kind to ourselves.
