  • Honest question. Isn't calorie counting the main definition of dieting? If you are carnivore, wfpb, keto, Mediterranean I see it as a lifestyle that you follow forever and you don't count calories.
  • I don't know specifically about stevia. But studies showed that artificial sweeteners, even though 0 calories, they actually increase insulin levels and create hunger. Have you looked into monk fruit? It's natural, 0 calories. Just pay attention, because its production is not cheap so companies mix it with sweeteners.…
  • I simply cook them in a pan with cinnamon and vanilla extract. Or sautee them with mushroom, bell pepper and zucchini.
  • I just toast 2 slices of bread, spread half avocado on each slice, dice up a tomatoes and cover the avocado.
  • I think that is something that you need to discuss with your doctor and a dietician/nutritionist who has experience with that disease.
  • I used to make vegan cheese and I used as a thickening agent agar agar.
  • I bought it for my wife and she wears it all the time, even when she goes swimming (at least I think that's what she said). She measures steps everyday. I don't know much about other options, but for sure it helps her as motivation tool.
  • Man if that is impressing. You have done an awesome job, congratulations.
  • Unfortunately covid is not an excuse... It increased problems to many of us. My statin bottle on top of the kitchen counter can witness it.
  • Sorry I thought it was a screen shot of your diary. My bad.
  • If you have a sweet tooth you can buy a bag of vegan chocolate chips. You can eat a few chips, drop them in your breakfast or put a few chips in a small coffee cup add very little milk, microwave 10 seconds, stir it up and you got chocolate spread to eat on a slice of bread. Oh I was forgetting. Soups are good too. You can…
  • Go to an Asian store, sprouts and whole foods. They sell by the bulk. Buy dried beans and grains, by the bulk they are cheaper. I just bought a 15lbs bag of dried soybeans for $10. Beans in a glass jar can last years. Put grains in a freezer. They can last a long time as well, but they can get a little pest infesting them…
  • I used to cut out labels and tape them on a sheet of paper (with the description written next to it) to have on hand to use. I don't change much what I eat so i could do that.
  • Blueberries are filled with liquid so when frozen might lose a little weight, but it's really minimal. As per quality, that is up to luck. As a general rule frozen blueberries (like all fruit and veggies) are frozen almost immediately after harvest. While fresh fruit and veggies is picked before being ripe and spend longer…
  • That is how I started keeping all the green leafy veggies and herbs I buy. I was tired of them turning yellow or going bad in a very short time. I tried with the parsley at first and I kept it on the counter. Didn't help much. Now I keep them in the fridge in a cup filled with water and everything lasts much longer.
  • I like movement. I can't stay in place for to long. I love running (not on a treadmill). I've been doing Aikido for close to 15 years and as meditation I use taichi.
  • We might be saying the same thing in different words. In my language there is no addiction, only dependence. We have drug dependent, not addicted.
  • No there are more foods I agree, which work the same way. I have no problem in saying that probably I'm more addicted to chocolate than I was to cigarettes. I think you can't find a psychological fix for everyone because everyone at the psychological level is affected in a different way. While there are now medicines that…
  • Lol I found it. They removed the result. But it explains in details why they did the study. Wonder why they removed the result... Someone paid for it? 😂😂😂😂😂 https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/study/NCT00360919
  • Yes when they act as opioids. https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/agricultural-and-biological-sciences/casomorphin
  • Lol I only find articles describing it. I really can't find the study anymore. I think this is more complete (yes I didn't read it all lol) https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/agricultural-and-biological-sciences/casomorphin
  • You mean evidence that you or me are addicted? No. Like I was never addicted on joints. Evidence that it can be addictive? Yes. (I'll keep trying to find the study lol there are so many on nutrition). But this sums up chemically how it works. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/is-cheese-addictive#your-brain-on-cheese
  • Yes it is basically what he said. According to your paper % of failure goes from 50% to 5%. Forgive me I don't remember which one he said in the video they use mostly and which one has the highest failure percentage. I don't remember if it was in this video (I didn't watch it again sorry) or in the seminar one, but it was…
  • When I was teenager I used to be drunk every Friday Saturday and Sunday quit cold turkey, no rehab. I smoked 30 years almost two packs a day... No rehab. Joints? No rehab. So they are not addictive either. Being addicted to something it doesn't mean all your D2 receptors are gone. There are levels of dependence and they…
