@changes8413 Cheat by adding a protein shake, or just adding protein powder to meals where possible.

take a look! Fair warning, a lot isn't in english, and it's a bit repetetive.

On a scale from Swedish Chef to Du gamla, du fria: How swedish are you?

It depends what you like and how you're using it. For me I bought a bunch of single serve packs, or asked for samples at stores and usually got them. Then I went for the one I liked the most.

@vanmep I just weigh the entire apple and log it, because subtracting percentages sound like hard work, and I've got no time for that.
-
@pancakerunner For me it's the smell. Generally I don't have a problem with the smell of meat, but but it's not the same for the smell of pig meat. I can tolerate most other cuts, but I can't even smile my way through the smell of bacon.

@claireychn074 You can have two cups sizes from me, maybe even three if you really want it.

* Tiny amount of oil for the pan * Frozen veggie mix * Frozen, cut up, protein * Salt, pepper, whatever spice you want * Heat in pan until as crunchy as you want them to be. Takes 5-10 minutes. * Put in bowl * Optional, add sauce or dressing at a sensible point of the process. There's even frozen veggie mixes that already…

Not entirely what your asking for, and your dietician will probably have something to say about it; but Mindful Eating helped me to avoid binge eating, and being more aware of why I was eating be it hunger, boredom, or anxiety.

I register my weight in another app every day, to see the trend. But I register on mfp sometime on the weekend.

Some things, if it's in the house I will eat all of it; crisps, chocolate, cookies, cheese, pasta, breakfast cereal. These are my most triggering foods. So, I haven't bought them, or when I've bought them it's been outside of the house or one tiny portion bag. I binge after a hard day at work or when idle in the afternoon.…

My depression made me not have the energy to cook, and so I would eat an entire pizza in the afternoon and snacks. Then i would look at how big I was getting and be despaired and consoled me with "I'll start dieting tomorrow, but today is ruined" and so I ate a box of cookies or a chocolate or crisps or all three. Getting…

Run away. Forks over knives is quackery of the worst kind. Go see a registered dietician and take their advice. That goes double if you are going vegan, because it's easy to not get all nutrients you need. https://youtube.com/watch?v=ID_2ymmvW5w

I've started doing pilates, and loving it. Other than that I ride my bike to work and go for walks in the evenings when the weather permits it.
-
When I sit in the sofa in the evenings I keep thinking about snacks. And it's not that I don't eat chocolate now, it's just that I don't keep it in the house since I kept having one more bite until I'd eaten it all. My solution was to get expensive ice cream and portion it out so that I could only have a smallish portion…

what is the other app?

I don't have a problem with hunger now, but I do still have a problem that my brain wants fat and carbs, mostly in the form of pastries and chocolate, and crisps. That in combination with me doing "intermittent fasting" and I ended up eating way to much (because I hadn't eaten all day I could eat an entire pizza! and…

how much fruit and veggies are you eating? Open diary?

The only things I don't have in my house is things I can't have in moderations. So crisps and breakfast cereal. For most other things I can have a portion of it and be happy. My way to avoid snacking on sweet stuff throughout the day, and eating reasonably healthy, is to have the good (and expensive) icecream at home, and…

@penguinmama87 I was feeling sorry for myself that the weight hadn't gone down, and then I remembered the pants and thought I'd at least try them on to have a picture of my failure/progress. And then they actually closed. It looked like it was going to burst, but it was much better than how it was.

@wunderkindking This makes a lot of sense. first month I weighed myself day 1 and day 30, saw a significant weight loss and now I wanted to see the trend. But I see that it's not doing me any good. Will stash the scale away for now and go by measurements instead.

My goal is to eat at or under maintenance. On weekends I've been closer to maintenance, on weekdays I try to aim at 300 to 500 calorie deficit. In addition the weekends tend to be less healthy than weekdays.

Coworker have been trying to get us to join her MLM weight loss scheme. She's been losing some weight, but at the same time she's complaining about how much money she spends on small packets of shakes and terrible soups each weeks. I told her that anyone would lose weight if they ate around 1000 calories a day. So now I'm…

@Frompumpkin2cinderella Only thing worth steaming is buns, nothing will change my mind.

Yup, haven't been able to complete a day, on app or website for a few days now.

@psychod787 Everyone at work did this, some still do, for either weightloss or to "boost the immune system". Only reason I didn't try it was because I hate the taste of vinegar. Did I mention that I work with nurses? Because I do, and there's so much belief in quackery it's scary.

@VegjoyP In the 2000s I went to pro-ana sites to find my diets. I started and failed the ABC-diet so many times, never got past the first week.

@bold_rabbit I think the problem is that intuitive eating have turned into "eat whatever you want when you want it" instead of the actual sitting down and examining your own hunger singnals and relationship with food that it was supposed to be. Intuitive eating is just what normal weight people do, the problem for me is…
