@Krysless2 So sorry. I am so off track with everything right now. Seems like all that can go wrong has. I don’t lack motivation, I just have a long list of problems brewing in me and my child’s life and now my mother. I am praying that Jesus helps us soon and I’m asking this community to pray for us also.

Because I can. I have been overweight/obese since I was a child, but always knew that I was meant to be fit and healthy. I have had numerous failed attempts at trying to make a lifestyle change; losing and regaining significant amounts of weight. But I know that I can overcome this problem and I will.

Sugar is like any other addictive drug to certain people. I have to keep sugar out of my home and only eat sweetener in moderation. Try greek yogurt and eat more protein to reduce carb cravings.

I know how you feel. Just remember that there will always be days like this. Come up with a list of activities to keep yourself on track. Say a prayer, read a book, watch a movie, DIY projects are great. It’s not easy, but it’s also not impossible.

@veganbabe777 I like your comment about your body being a temple of God. Dieting is like tearing down the temple (getting rid of excess fat, weight and bad habits) then re-building it with lean muscle and healthy eating habits. It’s a mental, physical and spiritual transformation to be the best person you can be.

Every person has something in their life they don’t want to put restrictions on. We have to have some self-control or else suffer the consequences of poor eating habits. That’s the real punishment.

@rawrxamberx Great. I drink 4-5 or more 16.9 oz bottles a day. I can drink room temperature water faster than cold water. I also keep a bottle next to the bed and I drink some every time I wake up. I don’t have many other beverages that I drink except sparkling water with some meals. Try flavor enhancers.
