I’ll be interested to see if I keep losing…

@goal06082021 baked oatmeal! What a great idea. I’ll make some this weekend too. @Deanner03 I started using Shona Vertue (I purchased her 12 week fitness program but she’s got a lot of free videos on YouTube) in March of 2020 and have never looked back. The key I think is to be ok with starting with whatever level of…

@justanotherloser007 I actually haven’t many issues with the kind of mental fog that you are describing unless I’m not getting enough protein. I aim to get over 100g of protein a day, and if that’s solid then my carbs and fats can kind of do whatever they want (I generally stick with low carb because that gives me more…

@swimmom_1 Thanks!! You’re right, there’s no difference in makeup, so it’s the weight loss + new color that really helps pull my “look” together!
-
@justanotherloser007 I really understand you! I still look at small spaces and think “I don’t think I can fit through there” even though that is not true anymore!

Friday weigh in! Age: 31 Height: 5’6” SW: 222 (Feb ‘21) August SW: 164.6 August GW: 158 UGW 154 Aug 6: 164.6 Aug 13: 161.9 Aug 20: 161.2 Aug 27: 161.1 It looks like I haven’t had a loss this week, but I was seeing numbers as low as 160.1 earlier this week - and my loss is hidden by pesky TOM! But, of course what matters is…

@Renewed2021 Thank you for honoring us with your vulnerability. ❤️ I know everyone’s story is so different, but for me, I couldn’t start to lose the weight and change my life until I came to terms with who I was at my heaviest weight. It took 2 years of big emotional work to be able to truly see myself as beautiful and…

It’s still a loss and I’m happy about it! I ate significantly over my calorie budget over the weekend for my…

@JNettie73 I totally get what you mean about feeling more comfortable in your own body! I was at a dinner with friends on Saturday night and one of my friends has the same body type I used to have before starting this journey. I watched him all night constantly have to adjust how he was sitting, adjust his clothes so they…

@57pattycake I’m sure you could! I might use a tofu crumble in the sauce to up the protein content - I’m sure it would be delicious!

I crossed the -60lbs this morning too, so that was really exciting. UGW is only 8lbs away and I’m already dreaming of all the clothes I’m going to buy once I get…

@goal06082021 I have a zucchini spiralizer that I usually use to make my own zucchini noodles (SO much better than the store bought kind in my opinion) and it has an attachment that worked to slice the long, thin slices. If I was doing it by hand, it would definitely have been a pain! Then I roasted the slices in the oven…

If anyone is looking for a delicious way to use up some leftover zucchini, I made the most delicious Zucchini Lasagna this past week - just under 400 calories for a (large) serving, so it’s not the lightest meal but it kept me full easily for 5-6 hours. And look - so pretty! https://www.skinnytaste.com/zucchini-lasagna/

I put on a pair of (admittedly loose fitted) size 8 slacks this morning which then promptly fell off! When I started this journey I was a size 16. Time to buy some new clothes!

This week has been mediocre in terms of food though - I was feeling hungrier this week and instead of cooking myself a ton…

@JNettie73 Looking great! I love a good progress photo because I can quickly slide into the mindset of “I kind of look the same, it’s not making a difference” until I put my current self and previous self side by side! I love my past self but there is no doubt that my current self is healthier! @thutchinson2210 Welcome ❤️…

@Spotteddingo I am having the WORST hair shed too! It has happened to me once before when I lost 70 points way back in 2005 so I keep telling myself that it is temporary and will stop.. but if anyone has any tips, I am all ears! Vitamins and protein is so far what the internet has told me to do (that and not worry which is…

@jazzadesigns I still can’t believe it’s mine! 😉 6 months ago me would never have believed it was possible. Best of luck to you on your journey! @57pattycake Thank you!!!

I started working out for real for the first time since college in March 2020 as a stress reliever since I wasn’t leaving the house. I quickly became addicted to the daily endorphins, added in diet in Feb of 2021 and here I am, a year and a half later, 55lbs down and in the best athletic shape I’ve been in since high…

Sorted my clothes today and put away everything that no longer fit. I won’t go shopping until I’m at goal but dang! If this isn’t a good representation of the change that has happened in my life, I don’t know what is. 54lbs gone, 14 to go!

@OnceAndFutureAthlete I know every person is different but I have found that my protein levels have EVERYTHING to do with how full I feel. If I have a protein-heavy lunch and dinner, I can get to the end of the day having only eaten 1000 calories and have to go around scrounging up snacks for myself to round out my…
