That’s wonderful to hear! That gives me some hope that this will get better.
-
I guess it can change dramatically in a year. When you say you have more energy, is it a lot more energy?

To treat the Hashimoto’s, I went gluten and dairy free. I’m assuming that’s what you mean by treat, or do you mean medication? By going gluten and dairy free, my antibodies went from 1800 to 254. They went from 1800 to 400 something on gluten free alone. Then I went dairy free. After being dairy free for a year, my…

Would you feel exhausted with the ferritin low with normal hemoglobin, hematocrit, % saturation, serum iron, and TIBC? Here are my other numbers. I have an iron supplement I take, but I’m not consistent with it because I’m scared I’m going to overdose. If you get too much iron, it can cause liver damage and brain damage.…

Did you read what I just posted? I’m NOT depressed.
-
No I do not stay in the bed all day because of depression. I am NOT depressed. I am exhausted! Exhausted beyond words. My doctor just ran some blood work and here are the results. My appointment with her isn’t until the end of next week. If you guys have any suggestions for how to get some energy or if any of these things…

Could you post a link to the recomp thread? I tried to look for it. I must be missing it.

Advancing age over the course of one year?
-
I think my doctor has because she’s ran a lot of tests. I’m not having weight gain though. Doesn’t that cause weight gain?
-
That makes sense. You explained that really well so thank you. If I go back to doing walking again, will that build muscle back up? It happened gradually. I will definitely start being more active.
-
Yes, I’m going to start walking again (I actually started today). And maybe yoga too. Hopefully this helps. Thank you for the advice!
-
I know it’s hard to believe, but I am 5’3 and 105 pounds. Now you know why I’m posting, asking for advice. It’s not normal. Have your friends been laying in bed most of the day for the past year? Maybe that’s the difference.
-
They are accurate. I know it doesn’t look like it, but I am telling the truth. That’s why it’s so puzzling to me and I can’t figure it out. I will try that and see if it helps. I could already feel the burn on the right side of my stomach while walking just 14 minutes today. Imagine 30. Thank you for the advice!

Like another poster mentioned, I’m not trying to be a lingerie model. I’m just trying to get the body back that I used to have not that long ago.
-
Why? Because it’s unhealthy?
-
This helps a lot. It sounds like it’s from inactivity. I will definitely start being more active. Thank you!
-
Yes, exactly! That’s what I didn’t post Instagram pictures. I just want to be where I was last year. So it sounds as if spending lots of every day sitting or in bed (mostly in bed) can cause this? Ever since the pandemic, I eat and then go lay back down. Sometimes I watch a movie, but I’m mainly laying in bed. On average,…

The second picture was taken at the very beginning of the day before I had eaten anything. I posted it at night, but I didn’t take the picture at night. I have a muffin top regardless of what I wear. Even naked and in very loose pajama shorts. And those jean shorts are actually 4 sizes too big. Where is the thread on…

Good thoughts. Prior to Covid, I wasn’t super active. I’ve never been a gym girl. But I did do a lot of walking. This past year I stopped walking and basically spent all day or most of the day in the bed. I wake up, eat breakfast, go back to bed, wake up, eat lunch, go out for a drive, come back and eat dinner, and watch a…

Yes, it showed a cyst on one of my ovaries, but my doctor said it was a normal cyst and wasn’t concerned. It does “grow” after eating sometimes so it could be bloating. Although my stomach gets worse after eating at times, I do have jiggly fat and a muffin top in the area when I first wake up before eating anything. :(

@kelliihere is there any chance your alcohol consumption has increased over the past year with covid-related quarantining? I ask because I know mine did initially before I made a point to cut back. [/quote] No, but I can see why you think that. It does look like an alcohol belly. Believe it or not, I’ve never taken one sip…

My doctor ruled out PCOS. What is especially concerning is the difference over a year.
-
Trust me, that was my first thought. But I’ve had all kinds of tests done and even had an ultrasound of the area.
-
And here’s now.
-
Okay so here was last summer on vacation.
-
Yes, I will take pictures and post later tonight. I’m 28 and my body was completely different last year at 27. No, I’m not being overly critical of myself. The trainer I consulted with can clearly see it. The trainer doesn’t believe me that I’m only 105 pounds and thinks I need to lose weight. The trainer said I need to…

I wanted to add, based on what I’ve read online, I think I have a skinny fat body and I’m not sure what to do for it since ALL the fat is in my stomach and you can’t spot reduce.
