I would like to join this team again.

thank you. Perhaps I never saw/read the FAQ links someone mention in this thread the first times --my bad..... but I see it here and plan to read more...this makes so much sense to me now!
-
I am new to this group thing and I don't find the instructions intuitive - thus bear with me as I hope I joined correctly

finally convinced my heart doctor that I only need to come once a year so that she could refill by water pills....that was a win...continued weight loss no chest pain upon exertion etc.........today I see the pulmonary dr so I am hoping for the same win.

I hope it gets better with time and not that our eyesight fails as we age ;)

Great! Congrats to you. It's all about what works for you! Seems like you are starting to build a sustainable healthy habit! Thus, I am not preaching how to do it, just providing you with some thoughts for your next change. Once I realized I needed to eat more often, my next step was introducing more vegetables into my…

For me, intermittent fasting didn't work as I will tend to eat the calories I was supposed to save during the fast. For you, it probably does! So congrats....it should be calories in versus calories out. Do you log your food and exercise? Perhaps you burning more that you're eating?

people didn't notice until i lost about 60 pounds. even the people who knew i was trying. It was everyone noticed one day and said...holy crap, you lost a lot o weight....but i attribute that to wearing smaller clothes that fit and not continuing to walk around in baggie clothes, cause the clothes i wore always had room in…

Hope you are recovering - that's a lot of weight to lose for being sick, I can only imagine the worse as I read that post. I worked to lose my weight harder than I did to gain it - so what's cheered me up after becoming a skeleton???? I love shopping on the clearance rack or $2-5 new shirt finds! Just spent $90 in Old Navy…

relateable about having to lean and stop. congrats....however, I still don't trust my adult daughters to push that cart behind me......too many ankle accidents

I bought full size candy bars for the trick or treaters. The fun size could be problematic for me..I am good at portion control and could eat just one, but don't need the extra few calories of one little piece here or there ---because they will add up by the end of the week ......anyway the store also had christmas…

You don't need a whole serving...just resonated with me. I have lost 164 pounds and my scale hasn't budged in a month. I buy my snacks already portioned and sometimes, I just eat the portion regardless of whether I am satisfied, because the calories fit and I have been doing this a year and a half.............. talk about…

I feel this! I guess this is a NSV for me as I mentally connected the dots reading your post. When I would mop or wash the dishes, I used to have to sit down just for 30 seconds to take the weight off my back. It always felt like it was going to break, I would say...let me sit to stretch my back in the other direction.…

I hit a brick wall in August. Actually gained 0.1 pounds since August 1st. First time since I began on March 1, 2021. In total, I have lost 163 pounds, so I had a lot to lose. Also, my BMR is 1342 with moderate exercise, for someone who now weighs in at 167 and is 5' 4". Took .25" off my waist though - must be some muscle…
