I genuinely enjoy "healthy" food, I'll often choose to have carrot soup instead of chips just because I love it. But I'm not going to feel guilty for having ice cream several nights out of the week either since I know it fits into my day calorie wise as well. Basically I just go with what I like and fit in "fun" stuff with…

I don't nessicarily believe in "metabolism" jumps from eating more, But I do think there's more subconscious movement or something. I've been able to squeeze out an extra 200 calories a day after I stopped losing without express effort.

This is very true! I've recently had quite a few off the rail days due to some parties/pms cravings and today I'm 0.6 lower on my trend than my usual weight because I didn't let things slide and ate at a small deficit the rest of the week. It's a whole balancing act and gaining a half pound here or there isn't going to…

My most "fun" scale experience was when I ate in a deficit for a month and gained a few pounds according to the scale, only to then eat at maintenance(or slightly over) for 2 weeks and dropped 4 pounds(The two I "gained" and two extras). Technically I lost then maintained that loss, but the scale didn't add up to the…

My favorite "pickle" is more of a cucumber kimchi, It's sweet, salty, sour and spicy all in one! But yeah bread and butter pickles are weird to me, They're like dessert pickles!

Funny enough Mac and cheese is actually one of the pastas I WILL eat if I have to, But it's no where near a "comfort" food. It's just "not horrible" haha. I agree with pasta tasting cardboardy, Cardboard with a slimy texture(Sometimes homemade/fresh can taste doughy for variation?!) :s . I really like pumpkin gnocchi, it…

Strawberry icecream mochi! They're only 100cals for a sweet treat

Thanks for the insights everyone! I've definitely thought about the losing slowly approach, if I ever decide to go that route it could be interesting.

I have a super controversial opinion, One I've literally never met another soul who agrees with me. I. Hate. Pasta. There's a small amount I can stomach if I have no other option, but pasta/noodles are dead last on my food hierarchy. I've tried fresh, homemade. Different kinds of sauces, soups...No I just really hate…
