His laptop is broken. Cap lock is stuck on. You can do this. Walk & the truck stops. Listen to motivational CD's, Christian Radionwhatever helps. Pack a cooler with healthy food & water.

If i am running 3-4 miles I just eat a banana about 30 to 40 min prior to my run. Longer runs I will have a slice of wheat toast with peanut butter & 1/2 of a banana.

If you are using TDEE-% you can still log you exercise but you would not eat the calories back unless your NET drops below your BMR then eat enough to bring your net above your BMR. TDEE # includes excersize. I still log mine to keep track but don't eat back. I have mine set to 1700 & I only eat back calories burned if my…

Pop Tarts. No contest.

If MFP has set you @ 1200 calories (which is probably too low) then your NET should be 1200 calories @ then end of the day. You would NEVER want your NET to be zero.

I use frozen most of the time. I buy the Steamfresh ones. 5 min in microwave & they are yummy. As a working mom they are easy & taste good.

I am also training for my first half. I am usually pretty hungry the day after my long run. Actually I've pretty much been hungry constantly since training began :blushing:

Listen to your body! !! If you think you can do some/most of it you can substitute marching in place for anything that strains / hurts your calf. If most things hurt then stop until it is better then start back up beginning the level you were on again. It won't ruin everything to miss a few days or a week. But if you push…

When it's warmer I make refrigrator oatmeal. You can get lots of recipes from Google or Pintrest. My fave so far is using 1/2 cup quick oats, 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, half a banana ( cut up), 1/2 cup blueberries and a couple drops of vanilla. Mix in container and stick in the fridge overnight. In the morning…

Congratulations on your awesome success so far. I think you could use that as motivation!!!! Not sure if you are on the road overnight or what you have access to. If you don't have some sort of mini fridge in the truck ( sorry, clueless here) I would buy a large cooler that you could pack with water & snacks / sandwiches /…

There are many, many, many more knowledgeable runners here than I will ever be but...... I am currently training for my first half marathon & it is all about endourance. Runs at a slow / easy / conversational pace. From reading beginner advice on some running forums it seems what they encourage as well. I am doing these…

If you are eating based on TDEE-20% you would go by consumption not NET. You would only eat back calories burned if your NET drops below your BMR. otherwise just eat your goal.

Like someone above said knowledge is power. I was shocked @ how many calories I was using up just on sugar & creamer for my coffee. That did not include any food.

What is this ''going out'' of which you speak?

When I herniated mine last year (bending over to tie my shoe! ) I was on steroids & pain killers for a week. Then I was allowed to swim & walk on flat surfaces only for about 4 weeks. I did some research online that Yoga was good for this. I purchased a dvd from Amazon called Viniyoga for the lower back, sacram & hip. It…

I am 5'3'' and started on MFP a year ago because I felt awful, physically & mentally. I wore a size 10 pushing 12. The weight I recall feeling my very best at was 119 but that was about 17-18 years ago. At 46 I'm no longer a spring chicken & my weightloss has been slow but that is fine asni never intended to ''diet'' but…
