First thing Sunday morning. I also take measurements at the beginning of each month.

For my 3 or 4 mile run I just eat a banana about 30 minutes before my run. 5 to 7 mile runs I eat a slice of wheat toast with PB & half a banana. That is as far as I have run so not sure if that will hold longer.

Yup. You need to eat more. Calculate your TDEE - 20% & eat that. Slower but doable.

And another !! 9 to 9.5 is way to fast. I would die. I run between 5 & 6 mph and those are my faster runs. I am pathetically slow. The key is to build endourance & the key to that is running at a conversational pace. If you csnnot speak in a full sentence, slow down. Good luck.

Slow down. You should be able to hold a converstation while running. This is the pace you want in order to build endourance.

If you are doing TDEE-20% then you would not eat back your exercise calories UNLESS your NET drops below your BMR then eat enough back to get above your BMR.

You look AMAZING! !!!!!!!!! Do not get down. The last pounds are harder to lose. You are smaller now, it takes more activity to burn the same number of calories. Try changing up your exercise. Throw in some dvd's (Jillian Michaels has some good ones) or try running with Couch to 5K. You can do this! !!

Love Runkeeper. Seems accurate. Only once has it ever flipped out on me & gave me an extra half mile for some reason. It also gives calories burned which usually match cllsento MFP.. again as a guide. I like that it also shows you your splits & maps your route so you can see it visually as well.

I'm training for my first half in April as well. Using Hal's Novice 2 plan. I just finished week two. I had to tweek it for my schedule so I run Mon, Wed, Thurs & long run on Sat. I have been doing 30 Day Shred on Tuesday & Friday. I do nothing at all on Sunday.

Continue where you left off. If you feel you have back tracked just to extra days of L2 until you feel ready to move on.

Will not give it up! !! I have weaned my self to 2 tsp of sugar & 3 tbs fat free french vanilla creamer (or anotyer flavor if it strikes my fancy) over 2 cups of coffee. First cup is 1tsp sugar & 2 tbs of creamer. When it is 3/4 gone I usually top it off & add another tsp sugar & 1 tbs creamer. I prefer to cut elsewhere.

Usually someone is home when i run so either ibdon't lock the door or hide the key. Need an extra that I can slip in my zipper pocket. I carry my phone in one hand (tunes & Runkeeper app) and my inhaler (stupid asthma) in the other.

Based on your activity level you probably are not eating enough. 1200 is ok for some but not for everyone. MFP started me out @ 1200 & it was awful. I am upbto 1500 now & losing. Check out Dan's roadmap link above. It works for a lot of people.

30DS is no joke. Not many people can do everything right off. I am doing it for the 3rd time & it has been a while so I had to drop to lighter weights.
