Plug your #'s into scoobysworkshop.com use the least active setting & lowest calorie deficit. I didn't have your weight so I couldn't run your #'s but once you do it will give you an amount of calories to maintain weight. I would use that # and see how things go.

I have a Boxer named Tyson. He is almost 3. 95lbs of love & fun (picture of him in my profile I'm still not smaer enough to post them in threads). We adopted him at the age of one from a family who was never home. We had a Boxer named Cocoa for 8 years until we had to put her down due to Cancer. (Cancer sucks by the way).

Great post. It can be frustrating when we are not losing as fast as we would like or are sidelined from exercise due to illness or injury. But, we have tto change our mindset. Have you tried Miralax? My daughter had to take it when she got bound up pretty bad. Seemed pretty gentle & tasteless - mix with anything.
