I've always called it nervous energy, but yeah. A lot of stuff pent up in there and nowhere to go. I'm acutely familiar with it- as an observer and from personal experience as well. Is it true that some "moderate" exercise/ walking can reduce stress and lower high blood pressure? I've heard that.
