Machka: Sorry the day didn't go so smoothly. Lisa: Did I miss something? Are you going to have a website with your products? Heather: Glad the XMAS shopping is going well. Barbie, Probably a good decision to trade the Telsa so another car can be serviced locally. I have always had Hondas. And I have always been able to service the car at the dealer. Now maybe this will change and I will stop using the dealer. But one reason I purchased a Toyota this time was because the Toyota dealership was…

Heather: I must say if I could find a John like your John who will help with the cooking and at least declutter his stuff and then enjoy a fine meal and also help with the grandchildren, I would probably consider dating! And he enjoys the ocean? My DH was all about a lake in NH where he had good memories with his family.…

Meg: I am sorry to learn of your DH's diagnosis. I hope his treatment goes well. I know it can be hard to respond to the situation with the NP and not cause the doctor's office to become defensive and and maybe even drop you. Have you considered trying to speak with the Director of the clinic to ask if this mistake would…

Heather: I guess I aspire to be a citizen of the world because I listen to the Economist and read articles from the Economist. And I spent the day reading a book about governments. But I am a reader. I barely turn the tv on. And I would rather a magazine article that sums everything up rather than try to follow along with…

Heather: Happy Anniversary! Your holiday outfits sound terrific! Lisa: Love all the crafts in the picture! Your retirement pants sound practical and must look nice paired with long sleeved, tees or jackets! Barbie: glad Jake is a little more active and that your old cold is better. I mostly shop for clothing online. I buy…

I received a call from the dietician at Factor. I explained the meals were very good but that I wasn't eating the meat. She named about 3 other companies to try. She didn't try to get me to stay with Factor. She says Factor is doing a million meals a week. I wonder if that is accurate. I didn't realize these meal companies…

Machka: I admire so much the effort you put in to understand Brain function and to love and have compassion for your husband on a day to day basis. I know this must be a lonely endeavor at times...and that those around you might not understand what your day to day life is all about. Best, Rosemarie from GA

Thank you Lisa. RVRita: I just read about the flooding in NM..near Roswell. Hope everything is okay at the camp! Best, Rosemarie from GA

Oh and Lanette: I thought of you recently. I am on a streaming Martha Stewart kick! I love the different shows at her various ages! She had one on chickens! And of course her chickens are to die for! They are beautiful! Apparently she has been involved with chickens since the 70s or 80s and even facilitated communities…

So sorry to have missed so much! Life suddenly got very busy! My son and DIL have been coming and going from my house. We were all quite sick for a week. We went to North of Boston for the wedding and had a day in Salem. My A1C is up and I have been told I am pre-diabetic. I have found a group of 3 ladies to walk with. 2x…

Beth: Wonderful that your Mom is in a new, quality place! So pleased for you and her! PIPCD: I am with Heather, I would find some type of wrap for the black dress and wear them. You look great in them and with all your hard work exercising you should wear the black dress! Lanette: Wow! Great that you found the necklace.…

Machka: Thanks, I think I will try the Cancer Council and see what happens! I have tried Maybelline before but I went through it pretty quick Monique: I have been looking at some of the Laura Geller products. They do have sales. I do think probably the worst thing you can do is go to Sephora! But I got it out of my system.…

Allie: I would imagine keeping the new baby a few days a week would be enjoyable. I think with Miles it went on a little too long. I hope you keep the new baby just long enough to be helpful! Tracey: Congrats! Oh I hope the employer finds an office that is just perfect! Heather: I can't believe it! Your friends are as…

Tracey: We paid over $400 dollars to have our table re-finished. You should be real proud of yourself. The table looks great! I hope the job goes well today! Rebecca: Like Machka, I think diabetes when wounds don't heal. Or something with poor circulation. Maybe not enough protein. Barbie: It is wonderful people are…

Annie: I had a terrible time keeping the battery of our disability van charged as we drove it less. The battery died at least 2x in the driveway. Then one day I had the yard man charge it and I was driving up and down the hills to get out of my subdivision. Well the battery died going up a hill. I barely made it to the…

Lisa, Strange about your passport! Heather: Enjoy your visit with Sue and then grab a long nap! I am feeling pretty well. Maybe my Covid is gone. I will allow myself a trip to Starbucks and take a walk and come back and do some yoga. I read one of the exercises one should not do with osteoporosis is the full Forward fold.…

Just dropping in. I read through the comments and will post more when I get home. I am very tired but having a good time. The yoga is very, very simple. The people are lovely. Lanette...RIght now my mother lives independent in an over 55 apt complex. She has been there about 14 years and has many friends there. And a van that picks her and others up to go to the Senior Center. She plays bridge on Fridays and my brother takes her to church most weekends. She is in a book group...and does some Tai…

Flea, So terrific that your BP is lower. I relate to what you are saying. When I stopped working, it took several years not to have the feeling that I should be working. Sounds like you are withdrawing from the work world gradually. That seems like it would be better than going cold turkey! For me it has been rather a…
