Susan, ACD and cattle dog are the same breed. I didn't know when I got my first that a Blue Heeler was an Australian Cattle Dog. Saw an ad in a magazine and that dog just looked like a Blue Heeler, so that is how I found out. I got that 1st one in 1980 and have only been without one for one year since then. Annie is sweet…

I guess looking at that picture of Annie she does look part Pittie. Maybe will try a better picture. Here she is with a ball she chose at Petco.

Susan, Annie is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. Don't really know what she is mixed with. People seeing her photo will say Pittie (they say that for almost all ACD mixes), but in person people donn't see that in her at all though it is kind of what I thought when I got her. Vets and techs havent thought Pittie, though.…

Well, today my brain isn't working too well. I couldn't follow our service this morning. We were doing an introduction to Ephesians and I wrote down what I could get, but it just didn't make any sense. I think if I am going to understand I will have to go online and try again. Stopped at the Farmers Market today to get…

I hadn't heard of Eat Outside Day, either. It would be nice there in about an hour. It's been in the 90s (low yesterday and today). My knee got bad on Wednesday so that I ended up going to urgent care. They didn't find any break, but put me on antibiotics and washed it and wrapped it. I had PT that afternoon and Jeff…

I finally was able to go back to church this morning. After service we had our picnic, which I blew it on and ate too much. Most was salad, though. My piece of chicken is in the fridge because I couldn't cut it with the plastic fork. I was surprised that with chips nobody was taking dip and I had 3 of them. This afternoon…

2 of Mom's sisters had glaucoma, but no one in my direct line had it. I guess aunts having it predisposes you to it, too, plus I read that diabetes does. Seems diabetes predisposes you to every health problem there is. I have a problem trying to figure out what I can eat because the stuff I can eat with diabetes seems to…

Linda It's nice that you have all those zippers your MIL saved. I keep trying to save the jackets and coats that the zippers don't work on. I even have a pair of jeans that are practically brand new and the zipper won't work. I need to just throw them out. But my good coat and jacket I want the zipper replaced. My problem…

Linda, are you in Grand Junction now? Or am I mixing people up? Just wondering because of the weather. I had my eye appoinntment today for possible glaucoma. My pressures aren't indicitive of glaucoma, but internal views of my eyes are. My one eye that had the hole in the macula has a very thin optic nerve. So she has…

I have a lot of trouble with my crochet with missing stitches and such. You don't know how many I have messed up in those shawls. I can never make anything without a ton of mistakes and some of them I had to pull out a couple rows because they were so bad. Usually I do something to make it look right.

I have not been on here for a long time but thinking of you. Just thought I'd stop by and see what is going on. Judith, I am sorry to see that you are still having problems. A couple weeks ago I started coughing really bad. I had been really hot in the evenings, but just figured that was from the weather and it might have…

Sandra, I am sorry to hear that. Don't they have anything to help with the edema? I am glad that your diabetes problem seems to have steadied now. That shingles shot might be a problem with it, though, if it is stressing you. I hope that it stays steadier. I will probably be in trouble if I can ever get an appointment with…

Linda, my dogs were brothers that grew up together. I had their mother and sister here together for a while and they got along fine, even though Patty (daughter) had been gone for 4 years. The brother that had so much prey drive would go after his sister at times, too. Plus he almost killed his uncle Ben one time. I just…

Judith, praying your pain will be relieved. Linda, so sorry about the problems with your dogs. I know somewhat what that is like, but had to keep my dogs separated by pens and crates because they fought all the time. Brothers with one fear aggressive and one too high prey drive. I've been trying to get my yard to look a…

Sandra, I hope you are doing better now.

Linda, I am sorry about the loss of your mother-in-law. I pray that the Lord comforts her entire family. That trip to the museum sounds wonderful. I think I will check it out. Judith, I am glad you are finally able to get your needs met. We had Bible study this morning and will have our last one for this season next week.…

Take care.

Linda, my mechanic doesn't even work as a mechanic. He works for the security side of Honeywell. Something to do with the equipment (computer stuff) I think. He just does the cars/trucks for fun. Susan, you are teaching me new things. What is a wombok salad? I hope that everyone is doing okay and Judith, I hope that you…

Judith, I pray that you get whatever you need to get to feeling better. Linda, that is good about your car. You have more mileage than I do. I went to church with someone who likes to work on cars and offered to do something with my brakes way back then. We both go to different churches now, but he is my mechanic now, at…

Sandra, I am so sorry you are having problems with your glucose measures. I hope that everything is stable now.

Linda, sounds like you had a wonderful Easter birthday. I never thought about mine being on Easter, but found it was in 2007 and 2012. Surprised me. I don't remember it. I didn't get on here at al yesterday. Went to church and had a tiny bit of the breakfast the youth had to make money for their upcoming missions trip.…

Healthyme, I am guessing you are on the west slope. It was down to 41 in Denver on Wednesday here, but back to the 60s today. Next week a couple days are supposed to be near 80. I hope we get some good peaches this year. Judith, I hope that you can get the surgeries you need soon. I have been trying to get the repairs done…

Handyma has completely abandoned the job. Said he was coming at 4 different times this week and never showed. Now he won't answer my contacts. Has me so upset I want ice cream, but I've had some other sweets instead. I am out of control right now. I got up to 1 1/2 Metformin tablets o=for a couple days. Yesterday had…

Friday I had a great lunch that a friend took me too. Only problem was I ate too much. Then went to a Worship and Prayer night at our church. Oh, also saw a place by the Applebees we were at that has several different businesses in it and found a couple nice things. Got some magnetic bookmarks and a hanging thing with a…

I hope that all have your injuries, illnesses and surgery taken care of. I haven't been following this, so don't really know all of you. Judith, I pray that your necessary surgery is taken care of soon. Friday I was taken to lunch for my BD, then in the evening I went to a Worship and Prayer service at my church -- my gift…

I am thinking of getting a wood-look tile that even feels a lot like wood. I still have a lot to do on the walls, though. Handyman has said he will only do the 1st layer of mud for what he quoted and wants $200 more to get it to "paint ready." He wants $100 more to install the sink and toilet and $350 more to do the…

I'm glad you were able to find another crew and are getting your construction done. With Johnny's other job he has been having some trouble getting much done right now. He has 3 days off next week, though, so will be working here those days. Of course, one day I have Bible study. His other job work days are 10 hours, so I…

I haven't been on here since way back in the beginning. Maybe I don't fit in due to my confusion over my faith. I did accept Jesus when I was at a retreat several years ago (early 2000s). But I just keep doubting myself. I am currently going to a Bible study and I am trying to figure out how I can continue with the high…

I got my garage door opener and the old one has been taken down so things are ready for when Johnny can get it installed. A ittle different than what I wanted, but the other one has to be ordered for shipment from some other state. Who knows how long that would take nowadays. I'm looking at a couple other things that I…

Thats terrible. I have been paying a little at a time, but not more than what we agreed upon. Well, had a second job atted on when the window wells were leaking and that was necessary since the leaking would ruin the drywall that was replaced. The garage door opener is so I can actually get that door open. Other than that…
