Hi! I am looking for a good reason to consistently use my smartwatch to track exercise, MyFitnessPal, and track eating windows. Also going through some life events too and back pain. My goals are slightly diff… I work remote so just getting out the house and walk/bike/paddle board daily for 30 minutes is good enough for…

My goal is to walk 50 miles by the end of the month.

So if the macro breakdown doesn’t matter much, are you implying the issue is in activity or intensity? The trainer is a successful competitor in women’s natural body building and is also a nutrition specialist. We’re about the same height and she is absolutely shredded but I’m def not trying to get on her level right now.…

Slowly cutting out one thing a week. This week it’s high sugar processed snacks. Going to the beach to go swimming once every few days is motivating me. I’d like to feel less and less self conscious in a bikini as the days go by. Hoping by mid October I will be focusing more on having a lot of fun in the water 🏝👙

I struggle getting protein in too! My goal is 137 g and I’m not used to eating so much. It feels overwhelming. My body naturally only wants like 50-60 g. I talked to my trainer and she suggested Quest protein powder and snacks but they contain milk. Even though I’m sensitive to dairy and trying to avoid inflammatory food,…

Thanks for the advice! It must feel great to be a part of someone’s fitness journey for 9 years. I am one of those people! Struggling to get the results I desire. I’m skinny and a little pudgy and would like to gain muscle. I had a session yesterday with a CPT who answers a lot of my questions and corrects me. After years…

That’s a good policy to have. It def makes sense to be touched to correct form or for assistance. I didn’t feel physically uncomfortable just sort of jipped. Looking back, those last few minutes could’ve been used to exercise more or discuss nutrition, strategy or struggles.

Thanks for the insight! I’ll def be asking more questions and expressing myself more when it comes to my goals.

That happened to me at a commercial gym as well! My trainer ended up leaving. He wanted me to follow him but I was under a contract and also, I did not want to follow him lol. Part of our time together was me warming up on the treadmill and then him rolling out (not sure what the term is really called) my arms, legs or…

Thank you for the kind welcome! I am not a trainer. I’ve worked with a trainer in the past. The gym I was going to had a promo and I decided to try it out. It felt rushed, impersonal and was overpriced even with a discount. He pretty much trained me like I was a basketball player and track runner. I was doing a lot more…

You look wonderful!! I’m trying to lose 10 lbs too and build muscle. You can do this! Rooting for you! 😀

Hi! I’m right there with ya! I’ve been on MFP on and off and decided to start fresh and create a new account. Do you find that MFP seems a lot easier to use than it was a year ago? I’m here to track my food choices and activity, and to meet people who want to focus and improve their health too. My general goal is to…
