My husband and I were sitting at the bar at a restaurant having an after dinner drink. There was a mirror behind the bar and I almost didn't recognize myself! I said to my Husband "Damn, I look good" and he said "You sure do!"

At this time, I think we have until spring to get Mom's house empty. That's when construction will start on that house. Our daughter and her husband are buying our house and their construction will probably start late winter, early spring. We have a lot of balls in the air, lol.

I'm doing double the decluttering. My husband and I inherited the house he grew up in. We've been emptying it out for 2 years.(complicated by his sister who thinks everything is worth a fortune and has a hard time letting go). We are going to renovate the house and move there. So I also have to clean out MY house to…

I am 5.6 lbs away from my goal of 45 lbs lost, so my mini goal is to reach that before my daughter's wedding in November.
-
I ordered a couple of dresses online, one for one daughter's bridal shower, one for my other daughter's baby shower. I ordered L even tho, the size chart said I should fit into XL. When they came I took them out of the package, looked at the waist and thought "there is no way I'm going to fit into these". I tried them on…

I was taking a break from working in the yard on my front stoop and I was very uncomfortable. I've lost so much in my butt that now it's too bony to sit on concrete comfortably. LOL
-
I had to buy a smaller belt! I have to wear a belt with all my pants now, to keep them up lol. I'm not ready to buy new pants yet, not in the budget

I've reached my mini goal of 165lbs this week. My next mini goal is 160. I have 10lbs to go to get to my final goal weight.

I had kind of a rough morning. Had to get up super early for an appt at the DMV. It was an extremely frustrating visit and I was upset about it when I got home. I tried to relax for a bit but just couldn't. I decided that I probably should do some cardio so I got on my exercise bike for 25 minutes then I walked for 30…

That it's easier to bend over when you lose weight in your midsection. Because I had both my knees replaced I can't kneel when I garden. I have a bench that I sit on when I'm weeding and planting. Last spring it was extremely difficult to bend down and I would get really winded. This spring, after losing 31 lbs, I have…

I'm right there with you. I've lost 28 lbs and I'm still wearing the same size pants, but they fit better. I went down a belt size tho. I'm excited to get my summer clothes out because last summer I had a lot that were too tight and I'm hoping I can wear them this year.

Made it to 175 on 2/4/22! Next mini goal 170.[/quote] I made it to 170 on 4/1/22! My next goal is 165.

I can't wait to unpack my spring/summer clothes and see what I can fit into that I couldn't fit into last year.
-
Also, my BMI is out of the Obese category and in the Overweight category!
-
I have to buy new belts! I'm on the last notch and it's not tight enough!

@Cozgirl40 i bet you lose those 15 remaining lbs and feel amazing in your dress! I hate the way they’re sized, but no one will see the size tag except you…they’ll just see how amazing you look in your MOTB dress! @TxTiffani thank you for your kind words. Of course you are right about the size tag. I'm hoping to look…

I'm 65 years old and 5'3". I've been on my weight lose journey since July 2021 and I've lost 25lbs. I have 15lbs to go. My daughter is getting married in November and I just went to try on dresses for the wedding. I was disappointed that I fit into a size 16 which is the size I was wearing 25lbs ago. My consultant said the…

Made it to 175 on 2/4/22! Next mini goal 170.

I weigh myself everyday, first thing before I jump in the shower, but I only record my weight once a week. It keeps me on track for the week, I can adjust my calorie intake each day if I need to. I record my measurements every 4 weeks.

I log my food (good and bad) and exercise everyday. I've been exercising everyday for the last 2 years because I had both my knees replaced and if I don't stretch them everyday, I get pretty stiff. I was able to add cardio in July. I bought myself an exercise bike and I also have a treadmill. As far as food is concerned, I…

I ordered my very first pair of leggings. I figured they would be great for exercising. I usually wear an XL in pants due to my ample badonkadonk. I ordered a large size and was very nervous they wouldn't fit. Imagine my delight when I put them on and they looked great!

I met my last mini goal of being under 180lbs. My next mini goal is 175lbs. New Years Eve is going to be my "Indulge Day", but I'll be right back at it the next day. Happy New Year everyone!

Yes! A few years ago, I was fatigued all the time, had muscle aches and just generally felt awful. My doctor tested my Vit D levels and they were well under the lowest normal of 30. He prescribed a high dose pill (50,000IU) every day for 1 week. After that he told me to take Vit D supplements along with my usual vitamins.…

I gained .6lb. I did my normal exercise routine and my usual meals up to, and including Christmas eve. My son in law prepares Christmas dinner every year and each course is a plated portion (including dessert). No helping yourself to seconds lol. I enjoyed every bite.

I'm at 180.2 today! Almost there! I've upped my cardio a little bit and it seems to be helping the weight come off faster.
-
My previous mini goal was to be under 180. I'm now 3 lbs away! Adding another: to be out of the obese and into the overweight category for BMI.
-
I've been working at this weight loss thing(I will not call it a diet)for about 5 months and I've lost 14lbs and 10 inches. The other day my son in law said "Wow, you look great!". That's the first time anyone in my family noticed the change in me.
-
Mini goal right now...get under 180lbs. 5 lbs to go. Ultimate goal...lose 40 lbs by 11/12/22, my daughter's wedding

I retired in April 2021 after 43 years in retail. I worked for the "Big W" so, of course, I worked through the pandemic. I've had both my knees replaced (May 2020 and Feb 2021) and having extra weight on me did not help in my recovery. That's when I decided to get the weight off. An extra incentive is that my daughter is…

I started using SparkPeople in 2008 and used it whenever I wanted to lose a few pounds. I went back to it in July and was sad to see it was going away. My daughter has used MFP so I decided to give it a try. So far, so good! I have lost 11lbs so far and I would like to lose 36 more. My daughter is getting married next…
