Extreme fatigue was my most noticable symptom, also gained some weight that was hard to take off before I was introduced to MFP. Happy to report that by being diligent with logging and exercise, that it IS possible to meet your goals. Don't let diagnosis stop you from working through to your goal. Don't delay getting the…

Veggie tray, dip using greek yogurt instead of sour cream? Crock pot of steamed California mix veggies, green beans? Turkey sloppy joes on thin buns?

I agree with the people that said let her figure it out for herself, lead by example, get a smart phone & use the app. when she sees how quickly you can log in your daily info especially when you use the meals feature at the top, AND she would be crushed/furious/livid/mortified/humiliated etc. to find out you brought this…

I would suggest saving your money till you can buy a better one. Polar FT4 and FT7 are both good. UMM MFP calculations and gym machines are usually very exaggerated. I nearly cried the first time I used my FT7, and found that instead of 700-800 calories I was really burning less than 300, but weight loss has improved and…

I was never good at it but when deaf patients came into the lab that I work in and saw that I was trying to communicate with them they were ALWAYS very appreciative and patient with me and helpful to me as I tried to help them. My daughter teaches the deaf and hard of hearing in our public school system. I wish I had her…

I'm with you, I say it sounds disgusting too!......If it isn't disgusting..... I don't want to know about it. For sure it sounds artery clogging. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

Rock Star --better known as Rocky, but the Chi-Weiner has also been called Free To A Good Home, when he started marking his territory and humping the kid's legs. A LOT! Starting to any way till I corral him to his love kennel. Bad Dog. But he is a snuggler and very loyal to his fam. Love him.

Probably start breakfast with a half serving of oatmeal, strawberries, maybe a pear and coffee.......Lunch & thruout the rest of the day: Turkey burgers with onion and spices mixed in......on a thin bun.......some kind of salad....a few veggie chips....homemade guacamole.....prolly some hummus....pumpkin…

Jillian says in the beginning she would like to see you workout 5 days a week, maybe you are over doing it. Also adequate water and nutrition intake. Make sure you are wearing good foot support shoes. When you get back to it maybe go with Anita's modified version and move on to Natalie's more intense moves only when you…

I used to ride my bike uphill home from work....hard work but I had the best upper thighs, shape and strength back then. I just went as far as I could each day till I had to get off and walk it the rest of the way, trying for a little further each day. Zig zagging up helped build endurance. Boy, the day I made it I was…

Yep, I would say save till you can afford one with chest strap. I have the Polar FT7 and love it. I have seen several post on here that the ones without chest straps are a waste of money. You are buying this to invest in your health you want accuracy. Best Wishes.

If you have a laptop type computer, maybe you could play a dvd on it in the living room? Or look up some of the exercise videos on Youtube? I agree with a visit to your doctor too. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

Great work Steph! I really liked the way you kept and displayed your records too. I have a question or two if you don't mind me asking:) Did you do this 5 days a week, 10 days at each level, one session per day? I saw that you did mostly the "easy" level, I have been also, but I can now do a few walking planks properly…

30 Day Shred because it kicks my butt in a short period of time. I started out could not finish level 1, winded, exhausted, knee hurt too much, etc. Hurt to go down the 2 or 3 steps to leave my daughter's house. Next day, OH MY WORD!! It hurt to stand up, it hurt to sit down, used anything close in the bathroom to help me…
