These just started for me in 2024 as well and it really distracts me from my food log and makes me not want to open the app. Please take them away MFP. I pay for premium so I don’t have to see these types of “ads”

If you subscribe to the plan (it took twice for me), Kate Hudson goes away but she’s replaced with a count your steps “ad” in the middle of your food log. This just started for me on January 1. I really really need this to go away or I will find another app to use. I pay for premium to not have to deal with these garbage…

Thanks for the reply @AnnPT77! I was actually hoping there was something I was missing -- a way to perform the "add food" search on the web using my recent foods, etc. I will gladly re-post to the suggestions area if this is not already a feature, but can you verify that there is currently no way to do this?
