  • I’m way past 50 here. Looking for more motivation. I’ve lost my momentum. I’ve gained 6 pounds. I know it’s a mind over matter thing. I know what to do but every day there are excuses that make me think I’ll begin again tomorrow. That has lead to many tomorrows. Any ideas to get me going again?
  • It will truly help! Log everything and be sure to check your nutrition at the bottom of the logging page. You’ll see where you need more nutrition and where you may be lacking. I’m always short on potassium so I take Propel packets 70mg and Emer-C with 200 mg. I walk 5 miles a week, (bad knee and feet) not much but it…
  • I’m still here plugging away. I’ve gotten so close to goal but have gained 4 pounds now. I had a little surgery on my ankle and quit walking for a while. It’s hard to get back on it. With the holidays coming it is a little worrisome.
  • Good conversation. I’ve been on many diets in the past and most worked for a while but then I’d go astray and gain back more than I’d lost. Since using MFP I’ve been able to lost 50 lbs HOWEVER, the closer I’ve gotten to my goal the more I’ve begun to back slide. The nice thing about MFP is that I can see what I’ve done…
  • My husband had me carry in a bag of pellets from outside. He smiled and said this is the same weight as the weight you lost. Then he hugged me.
  • Egg in a basket. One slice of Ezekiel bread (in the freezer or refrig section of the grocery store). Make a depression in the center of the wad slice, crack an egg in the ctr and bake Toaster oven is great. This recipe is in Pinterest and may be in Allrecipes.com
  • As I add more steps daily, from about 200 when I began MFP gradually increasing to over 3000, I sleep better. More exercise equals better sleep.
