@cfriedman44 Hi my name is Carol. I am 79 and brand new to My Fitness Pal and I am still getting lost on the app. I weigh 208 and have a lot of health issues that makes it hard to exercise. I love the diary as it helps me to be accountable and the suggestions on how I can make changes in my program. I would like to make…

@lizzybella22 I don’t understand why you don’t consider a 2lb loss great progress. If that was me I’d be doing a happy dance. I’m so used to seeing a .4-.6 weight loss each week I was thrilled with a loss of a whole lb this morning.

AnnPT77 and alteredsteve175 thanks for the encouraging words. I do weigh myself daily and my scale keeps track of the daily increase or decrease. But I’m going to look into those apps. Thanks again.

Yoolypr, love your last post! I needed that today. After a week of faithfulness I only lost 0.4lb. Needless to say I was very disheartened. Hopefully next week will be better.

Yoolypr you are truly inspiring. I have 40-50 lbs to lose which feels so overwhelming. I give you a lot of credit for your dedication you had to staying the course to losing 130lbs. You should be so proud of your self.

Hi jerussia. GI issues make life difficult especially for someone who wants to lose weight. Prior to COIVD I was diagnosed with SIBO and IBS with diarrhea. My gastroenterologist had me following the FODMAP diet. I lost 30 lbs and felt great. I was also doing Pilates. Then I broke my wrist and things started to go down…

I’ve found my people! This is the group I was looking for. I’m not really sure how it happened but I turned 66 in September. It seems like I was just in my 30s. I’ve been using MFP on and off for several years. I decided to recommit myself to lose the weight I need to lose once and for all. Due to returning to school,…
