You can if you want. After 4 to 6 weeks you’ll be able to tell if you’re on the right track by what your weight is doing.

Not much. From the time you lower your calories it takes a little bit of time for your body to adjust and start burning more fat. Better just wait till after the holidays are all over and then start a reasonable weight loss program. Crash diets to lose weight quickly are never a good idea.

There are countless “Burn the Belly Fat articles and they all lead you to buy a book and they are attractive to people that dont want to lower calories and want to believe that they just have to lower carbs and belly fat, which I guess is some “special” type of fat, will magically disappear.

Cutting out sugar and carbs just cuts out calories which is the reason you had success. Over drinking water burns calories because you’re running to the bathroom every 30 minutes.

you can disagree all you want.

Totally false info.

You lose weight by lowering calories. Eliminating things from your diet just lowers calories. Fruit has sugar so you shouldn’t be eliminating those things. No sugar would mean no carbs.
-
Your overall weekly calorie amount overtime will dictate whether you lose fat or not. Meal timing or meal frequency has really nothing to do with it unless those things actually make you take in fewer calories overall.
-
The only way to lose fat is to consistently consume fewer calories than you burn. No food or drinks will accelerate that.
-
Get on a good beginner weight training program like fierce 5 or something.

KETO and limiting carbs is no guarantee of losing fat in fact it can backfire later when you raise carbs back up again. Eat in a way that is sustainable and don’t chase some eating program that puts unsustainable rules on it. If you like KETO and want to stay with it then that’s ok.

too much water is harmful and doesn’t cause fatloss. Read above comments

Yes however your counting and tracking may be off so be careful of relying on the app as your food entries may also be off. Sit with a Calorie amount for 4-6 weeks and then at that point adjust calories if necessary. At your weight you can get aggressive with a 2-3 pounds per week of loss. If you aren’t hungry don’t feel…

Don’t do anything that causes pain or discomfort otherwise recovering will take a very long time. Those take a long time to recover even with rest and aggravating it takes even longer.

Yes, ads that tout foods that fight belly fat are comical. Belly fat is just fat like anywhere else on the body. You get rid of it by consistently taking in fewer calories than you burn. Start with eliminating ultra processed foods as much as possible. Things like cookies, chips, all junk food and alcohol as much as…

Your weight plateau could very well be water bloat due to stress and cortisol. Stop dieting and just eat normally for awhile to restore your baseline health. In time go back to a reasonable weekly deficit and proper nutrition.
-
You dont need intermittent fasting unless it causes you to take in fewer overall calories. All you need is a consistent weekly calorie deficit. Eat in a way that will be sustainable and KETO may not fit that category as you are finding. There is no magic to any of this. Get in your protein, some good fats and fill in the…

Water intake is something that you really don’t need to track as so many foods contain a lot of water so you’ll never really be accurate. If you’re urine is fairly clear you’re hydrated.
-
That a lot of coffee! There are low fat creamers as mentioned so just use one of those.

after a month it’s best to lower calories when in doubt otherwise you’re just wasting time that you could be losing. Whoosh is more likely with people that are carrying less fat. Water retention is usually just your homeostatic system trying to balance out the fat loss with water but at your weight it’s highly unlikely…

Your new weekly maintenance is catching up to your new weight so time to drop a few hundred daily calories
-
too much and bloat happens. It can be pretty bad sometimes
-
You can have all you want provided it fits in your overall calorie target.
-
she’s asking about water retention and not fatloss. Water will always be moving around for several potential reasons. You usually just have to wait until the body decides to release it.
-
It depends on what kind of equipment you have. There are some good exercises however they are equipment dependent

No carbs and wine.
