My Mini-Goal for this week (11/9-11/15) is to stick within my calorie range and macros for the whole week. I have really been struggling. I also need to increase exercise, I failed last week to hit my step goal of averaging 6500/day for the week. I was below 200 (198.3) last week and popped back up this week to 200.1, so…

I re-started my journey Sept 26 and have been doing pretty good, I have logged everything I ate every day for the last 26 days. I had one bad day when I fell into a large bag of M & Ms that have been in the house for two weeks. I should have known better because I was extremely tired and that is always the worst time for…

I have gotten in the habit of weighing in daily already, first thing in the morning. Measuring is not something that I have ever done much of and definitely no pictures. Took measurements this morning and will take a picture for the first day of the challenge.

Definitely my issue. I am an emotional eater. Stressed. Tired. Angry. Bored. Lonely. A ll trigger emotions for me. Over my lifetime, the worst times are when I am alone and primarily that I feel I have to sneak the foods that I know are not good for me. "If no on sees me eating this, then I can get away with it", ignoring…

My exercise plan:* Average 6500 steps/day, 7 days a week. This will be done by walking outdoors, exercise equipment and just getting up off my butt on lazy days. * Minimum 150 Fitbit moderate to peak zone minutes/ week. Walking, exercise videos 3/days/week focusing on cardio, strength and/or balance.

After a successful 2023 when I lost 47 pounds in 9 months (245-197), I really struggled for most of 2024. The lowest I got was 182 in June, another 15 pounds. But then I got lazy with my eating habits and stopped tracking and was eating a lot of high carb foods (i.e. sugar). I ended up gaining back 26 pounds (208) in a few…

Meal plan: I already cook most of our meals from scratch with lots of veggies, very few processed foods, but do occasionally eat out, maybe once a week. Just make good choices focusing on protein with lots of veggies when possible, no sauces, portion control is important. Fast food requires careful reading of the menu…

Specific: Focus on one day at a time, meet my daily goals. Lose some weight (5-10 lbs.) Set myself up with solid habits going into the holidays, always a tough time for me. Why: Feel good, be healthy, move pain free. Exercise: Meet or exceed step goal by walking and/or exercise videos daily. Incorporate more strength…

Hello I'm Clare from Wisconsin. For these 8 weeks I want to get back to the good habits I had last year and get my weight loss moving again. I need to learn to be patient and focus on one day at a time.

@lindapost1 You and I sound a lot alike. I will be 70 this year and retired, and exercise is my biggest weakness. Finding something I like to do every day is my biggest challenge. I also don't like exercising when my husband is watching (even though he is very supportive), so I usually do a 10-20 minute routine first thing…

I found this challenge on MFP Challenges page. I was just looking around for something to help keep me motivated but more than a month at a time. The time frames of the challenges worked for me and it sounded like a good group.
