We have moved from Oregon and are currently in Illinois. We’ve been here more than a year and are near our daughter. We’ve made friends here, and enjoy them. I still miss our friends in Oregon, including our hummingbirds. I think of them often. Katla in Illinois

I am watching the Royal Celebration in Great Britain. Prince Charles will be King Charles today. The parade includes a horse drawn carriage & appears to be covered in gold. Wow! It is 7:20 am here in Illinois. ⭐️ Katla

Yesterday was busy. I had an appointment with the dermatologist regarding a problem spot on my right cheek, close to my ear. I haven’t taken the bandage off yet. I plan to leave it alone and wait until the bandage falls off on its own. DD & I also bought a new electric shaver for DH. He hasn’t used it yet. It is waiting…

Today’s dermatologist appointment was a good experience. I am pleased with the doctor and the treatment to remove a mole that was changing. I had the mole removed today. I feel BETTER!!! 👍🏻 😊 Katla in Illinois

My daughter will be coming to pick me up for a first visit to an MD since we came to Illinois. I understand that this is a woman doctor & I am looking forward to meeting her today. 🌸 Katla

My daughter has plans for me today. I have mixed feelings about the day. I was up very late last night waiting for DH to return from his doctor’s appointment. He was tired from the long time he was there. He was also doing okay. Today is evidently my day for a doctor visit. Oh well— Katla

I had a grand time watching our grandchildren playing softball. I enjoyed watching our granddaughter & her team as well as our grandsons at their respective teams. We did some grocery shopping and I came back in time to watch men’s and women’s track races on TV with dh. It has been a good day. 😊 Katla
