Happy October! Katla in Illinois

This morning I went outside to look for the hummingbird feeder. I found it on the ground, with sugar-water inside. I picked it up and put back on my window. It has already had a hummingbird having her morning drink of sugar water. 👍🏻

I looked out my window and the hummingbird feeder is not in it’s place. I’ll get outside to see what happened to it first thing tomorrow morning. I doubt it is broken but I’ll see what happened, and put it back in place as soon as I can. 😳. 🤔 Katla in Illinois

Michele—DH has many health issues, including diabetes, MS, and heart problems. He is in a facility that gives him nursing care and transportation to Dr appointments. I have an apartment in another part of the building and can see him any time. I don’t have health problems. I’m lucky enough to spend time with him frequently…

Happy September! The weather is good here in Illinois. The hummingbirds are still here and visiting my feeder, but will likely heading south for the winter. I don’t know when may leave, and I will miss them. Meanwhile I will enjoy seeing them at my window. Katla in Illinois

I am enjoying my hummingbirds & am happy every time I see them. They frequently chase another hummingbird away from the feeder, and once in awhile two or three will land on the perches and drink the sugar-water. 💖 Katla in Illinois

I love the hummingbirds and refilled the feeder half an hour ago. One just chased the other away. They bring me joy. 💖 🥰 ❤️ Katla in Illinois

The hummingbirds here in Illinois have gone south for the winter. The Annas Hummingbirds that live beside the lower Columbia River where we lived in Oregon are there all year around. I miss them and dear friends there. Katla in Illinois
