Wow! That all sounds great! I had some swelling in my ankles, but didn't think about it being connected, other than I didn't move much when in pain. The swelling is down about 70-80%. So it's helping everything. I'm going to Google how to set it now.

I just got a tens/ems machine. I don't know what I'm doing. I used the ems on my tummy. I've had pain since surgery nearly 3 years ago. I've only used it twice. The pain is gone. I've eaten everything in sight since the first time. I ate about 1000 calories over tdee the first day. All healthy food, no junk. Just hungry.…

I don't know why? I live in the city now. Retired. Often wake up about 4am HANGRY. Sugar blood tests all good. Dr. Doesn't suspect pre-diabetic. Have tried protein at bedtime. Don't know. Not caused by cutting calories. Happens when I'm eating more.

Hi, Montana! And Welcome. MFP helps you help yourself. I don't know what your Doctor had in mind. But it's easier to keep protein up and sugar down if you can see where you're getting it and how much you're getting. Coming from a momma hen who would watch those things for her chickpeas, not from a medical or diet expert.

March 5 - 181.2 March 12 - 180.2 Right direction, happy with the loss. Hope I can keep it up. I got to exercise twice last week. I don't exercise hard, so the physical doesn't count for much. But the improvement on my outlook on life works wonders!
