Hit the gym for the first time in 2 weeks yesterday, took it relatively easy with a mixture of some old and new exercises. Still ached this morning regardless! Took 10 days off to have a deload week as I was on holiday. Did make use of the hotel "gym" once and went for a casual horse ride but no other structured exercise. Last day before deload week today. 3x core exercises, 3x arms and 3x legs. Off on holiday for just over a week tomorrow so using this as a well-timed deload week. Got my resistance band packed to help manage any back flareups and I'm sure some exercise will be done but nothing structured!

10 minuted elliptical, 30 minutes free weights. Then 45 minute horse ride but just in walk.

Boxing class again today, we did one pyramid round (3x1 minutes of a specific routine adding a new part each minute); core round (5 x a certain routine then 15 crunches repeated for 5 mins); then a very long cardio round that I won't describe!

Yesterday was boxing class, instructor took it easy on us for a change, found myself a little disappointed not to be exhausted at the end! :D Today I did my usual full body workout this morning, a little less focused on legs as I've overdone them a little this week.

Yesterday I cycled halfway to and from work, 10k total. It was COLD, definitely wasn't expecting that and wasn't dressed for the change in weather! Today I did pilates first thing, got a 30 minute walk in and also went to the gym just now for an arm session.

Rest day today, yesterday's exertions flared up my facet joint/SI joint issues. Did 45 minutes of yin yoga this morning which really helped and then went for a 90 minute walk this afternoon in the local countryside. Lots of horses, good for the soul :)

Spin class this morning, 20k completed and really pushed as hard as I could muster! Then went to see my horse, rode for an hour but only in walk as he's recovering from lameness. Legs and hips are definitely feeling it this evening!

Short gym workout and then went to boxing class. Usual instructor wasn't there today so we had a taekwondo instructor instead and have to say I really enjoyed it! Something very satisfying about it, may have to look into that a little more...

Full body workout in the gym this morning, my usual split of 4 lower body/4 core/4 arm exercises. All the machines had been moved around in the gym so I was very confused for a while!

Yesterday and today I was pushed for time due to work, so yesterday all I could manage was a pilates bar workout and today I did a core/glute pilates workout. Been getting my steps in as much as possible too. Was meant to work tomorrow but it's been cancelled so will take the opportunity to get to the gym.

Scheduled gym day today but really wasn't feeling it this morning. Very rarely cry off from planned sessions but I did today :# I did some yoga instead and have also been for an hour's walk this afternoon. I do tend to beat myself up when I miss a gym session, and I don't know why, definitely something I need to work on!

Bit sore from spin class yesterday so did some elliptical to loosen up, then went for my usual full body routine. Did some squats and hip mobility but didn't go too hard on lower body. Couldn't give blood last night in the end because I'm on antibiotics. But on the plus side that meant I could go hard at the gym this morning. Full body workout, focus mainly on legs (core was aching after pilates yesterday!) - bosu ball squats, leg press, seated leg curls - and various other weighted exercises.

Upper body and core today as lower body was SORRRRRRE. Did some elliptical just to loosen up first. Overhead dumbbell press, bridge with weights, tricep dips, chest press, bicep curl, bosu ball squat holds, few other bits too. Am very tired this evening. Rest day next two days because of work commitments.
