Hi, group. Checking in, it’s a new week! My weekends are always a but off but my weeks go pretty well. I did something to my ankle today, so did 10 minutes of chair aerobics instead of my lunchtime walk. Tabitha, I’m glad you will get to talk to a doctor soon. I have went through a lot of women’s health issues too, very…

I can't wait to retire! :) I have about 10-ish more years. I work in schools, which is a good gig, I'm glad and lucky to have it. I'm a music therapist, so I work with students with disabilities using music to reach [non-musical] IEP goals.

@hicim705 Sorry I am just now seeing this! Whole Foods Plant-Based!

@Dianedoessmiles1 Thank you for the warm welcome. I love your exercise pics. I used to work as a cashier at a convenience store, and I loved rush when there would be a line of customers and I had the challenge of ringing them all through quickly and correctly. :) I hope work goes well tomorrow, too...

I only put on a couple pounds over the holidays, which is better than it could have been! I'm officially back on the healthy dinners plan as of last Friday, but otherwise my eating has been whatever, whenever 😂 I will be back in my eating and exercise routine on Wednesday when I return to work. I am very excited--I ordered…

I searched for challenges on MFP last summer, and was intrigued by the 5% challenges running. I especially like how active and focused they are. I have just struggled to keep up recently, but I'm hoping getting back into a routine will help.

I have finished the online activities here, but am going to clean out my fridge and our snack drawer while I make dinner in an hour or two.

I have a daily reminder on our Alexa to check-in on MFP at 5 PM. I'm moving it to 6 because I was ignoring it in the rush before dinner. I just ordered a fitbit and am looking forward to exploring how to sync it with phone reminders and alarms, etc. I think I will add at least one daily one to my work calendar--but I think…

Just took my measurements--I hadn't done measurements, just weight, since late September. Happy to report that every number went down! Now to keep that trend going.

I'm going to focus on reducing device usage during eating. At home during meals, it's easy, because we are all seated at the table together. But snacks and lunch at work (in my car) are harder for me. But if I can make that the new rule going forward, it would definitely help.

Exercise Plan - Regular routine: *20 minutes of cardio/strength 5 days a week (I like doing Nike whole body workouts on Netflix or YouTube, other YouTube workouts, DDR, boxing; and we have other cardio and strength equipment in our basement) *10 minute lunchtime walk ***outside*** 5 days a week As possible/needed - *1…

My meal plan: Mediterranean/WFPB Diet: *Plant foods-based: vegetables, fruits, herbs, nuts, beans, and whole grains *Moderate poultry, eggs, seafood *Rare or no red meat or dairy (Med diet says you can have moderate dairy, but it doesn't agree with me and/or I go overboard) *No processed foods *Olive oil and healthy fats…

Winter Weight Goal - Lose another 5% Exercise - 20 minutes whole body workout each weekday morning (combining cardio and strength) and 10 minute walk each weekday lunch; trying to add in a hike each weekend Nutrition - Combination of Mediterranean diet and whole foods plant-based diet; probably allowing myself one (still…

I am traveling to onederland for my journey--or at least toward it. LOL I want to be off of various health-related medications. I am trying to get healthy so I am around longer for my kids and maybe grandkids. I have been struggling to be active on MFP the past few months, hoping this will get me back in gear. I plan to do…

How many 5% Challenges have you done? I'm not sure--I started this past summer, so probably this is only my third? Not counting the in-between challenges. What do you like to do for fun? Scrapbook/make cards, and paint my nails. Also make youtube videos. What major city do you live in or near? State? I'm in Missouri. What…

I haven't done this yet, in general since I have ADHD I really hate appointments and will rebel and not do them when it's just me. 😂 But I can set a reminder on Alexa. I am good at checking in on the weekend but not so much during the week, although I think I do good at sticking to plan still.

I just did my measurements in MFP checkin/goals, and have lost .5" in my neck, .5" in my waist, 1" in my hips, and 1% of my overall body fat. I feel good about the progress I've made so far and plan on doing it again!

I have always been an emotional eater, but am working every day to improve that and become more mindful. I've gotten better about binging after I get home from work, and now my big hurdle is multitasking while I eat.

I wake up early to do 20 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. This is the goal, anyway. I also take a 10 minute walk every day at lunch, I am pretty good at that one. Then on the weekends I like to do yardwork and/or go on a hike. I am focusing on cardio now, but I do also have routines for stretching, strength, and…

I am currently doing intermittent fasting with a 12-8 pm eating window. I am also staying within calorie range according to MFP to lose weight consistently, and following the Mediterranean diet as closely as possible.

My overall goal is to reverse my nonalcoholic fatty liver disease as much as possible. That means I need to lose weight and eat better. I've already lost 10 lbs. and cut alcohol from my diet, and do 20-30 minutes of cardio 3-6 days/week and take a 10 minute walk at lunch 5 days a week. I'd like to get to 206 during this…

I was told several years ago I was on the path to fatty liver disease. I had two kids and gained and maintained a lot of weight even after that...I landed on my heaviest weight this summer, so had to get serious. I did the summer 5% and the in between. I have lost 13 from my highest and 10 since joining MFP, but I still…
