Thanks and I’ve seen that. I would hope that a responsible company would at least skim the main forums (in fact I know they do - it’s their key source of real-time customer insight). And I’d hope they’d be a just little bit more proactive about updating us on a critical fault like this one, wouldn’t you?

I see there was a Fitbit App update yesterday – has anyone’s calorie tracking gone back to normal yet? (Might not have been a fix for it, of course!)

Hi there, Like many others I’m finding my Fitbit is suddenly sending through ridiculously high calorie readings. I’ve raised this through support but in the meantime, the readings are so wildly wrong that I’m going to have to disconnect it altogether. So my ask is, could you please post an update as soon as it’s fixed?…

Me too! This looks like a bug.

I think this is new – the same thing is happening to me but in fact it is giving me about 700 cal extra to eat, not just displaying them. I used to get an update every time I updated my Fitbit tracker which showed me how much extra I had earned through actual steps taken
