I am suffering from insomnia and only average 4.5hrs a night. I'm not recovering from my workouts and I always feel tired. For me, it is cyclical. It has been bad for the past month and not even Xanax is helping. I still wake after 2-3hrs. I might have to try Ambien. I hate taking meds but the insomnia is killing me. I…

Haha, I guess being an adult can be boring. I wasn't referring to food. I just think it is boring compared to losing/gaining and how much change is seen. I like to see my body changing. It keeps me interested.

Yes, I've been in "maintenance" for a bit. It's really due to failing a bulk. I just got tired of eating so much. I've been the same weight for a few months eating 4k calories. I gave up on eating 4500+. I just didn't like to eat after forcing so much each day.

How do you feel about having a bunch of fat? If you are okay with it, bulk. It doesn't seem like you want to add much fat, only 2%. Like others have said, you gain muscle and fat during a bulk. I would lean out first. You can probably go from 16% to 12% in a few months. Then, do a nice bulk up to 18%. Good luck!

I'm not sure if Indian food is good for weight gain but Italian food certainly helps. 😋

About the same as my current weight, just leaner.

40lbs? You got this! Just figure out your calories in/out for maintenance and then go below. Do you know your maintenance?

I'll be losing some weight as well. I have to shed my winter coat soon.

Geez, I'm up at 4am tossing and turning. I've got terrible insomnia recently. I'm glad you are motivated and energetic that early in the morning! Keep it up!

That is possible. It will come off fast at first (if you stick to the plan). Just remember to adjust calories as you drop weight. Good luck!

I've been maintaining 198lbs for 3 months now. I tried to build some muscle but it has been difficult. My maintenance is 3,900 calories. Eating 4,200+ gets old. My insomnia keeps me from recovering as well.

I just started using the Fenix 7 pro. My sleep is awful. I only get 4-5hrs a night and I wake multiple times during those hours. I also have sleep apnea and use a machine.
