@yirara you have percentages on old PIE graph when you hover your mouse over the graph itself. Also, you have a percantages on your smartphone when you press on the PIE graph itself. You have NO percentages on NEW line graph, just macros in grams which you already have in your table so line graph is completely useless as…

I never said I strictly pay attention to have 50-30-20 percentages on a daily basis, because I am not a professional athlete, but I strive to get close numbers to those and pay attention that my calorie intake is in balance for most of the days. If you are taking 2,000 calories per day (or 3,000 calories per day, if you…

University math professor and you didn't realize the difference between those very different graphs? Wow, just wow!

I actually already sent a feedback to where the @AnnPT77 suggested. I have to say that it is stunning how many people here are using MFP without realizing how important is that GRAPH WITH PERCENTAGES. I see that @Cant_think_of_a_username clearly understands what I am talking about. But so many others don't. And NO,…

Yesterday, I ate Kimchi Instant Noodles (120 g) and 40 g of Prosciutto around 4 PM and then went for a 5k run around 7:30 PM and had a really good time and felt strong. I am not sure if or how that meal had an impact on my run but I will try it again for sure bcz I am really puzzled now. Is it because of salt or carbs from…

Ok, I will. Thanks.

Absolutely agree! New format is horrible!!! Why putting the CALORIES (Remaining = Goal - Food + Exercise) section at the top??? We know what is our GOAL, this is useless and ALL of the people will just scroll down to BREAKFAST section anyway. So you basically created - an annoyance!? The table should be wider not narrower.…

Yes, I can't be sure but in the future I will pay attention to it. I just calculated that daily recommended intake of 2,300 mg of sodium is equivalent of 5,750 mg of salt. Then I checked it with your converter and it says the same.
-
Thanks for reply! I don't have any health condition. No high BP. I was just wondering if I figured out this salt vs. sodium thing correctly. Because it was confusing to me until I realized that salt and sodium are not the same. I guess it is too late to correct all these wrongly inserted salt numbers (instead of sodium). I…

Thanks for replies. Yes, I too am pretty much sure that it doesn't count the number of different foods we ate. Just a total number of entries. But it would be really interesting to know the number of different foods we consumed throughout some period (a month, or a year).

Ok. Many thanks for detailed reply. I had no clue that the world of nutrition is so tricky but in the same time it is satisfying to know what we consume on a daily basis, so we can make smarter decisions regarding our food intake.

Thanks all for insightful replies! Only calories remain the same or all of the nutrition facts remains the same? For this particular Fusilli Pasta from my question I looked at the nutrition facts on the package. I thought that is the most correct thing to do since it doesn't mention if those nutrition facts are meant for…

Aha. Ok. Then I will correct it. It's kinda confusing that they wrote that info below. Thank you again!

Yes, it says exactly 350 kcal. So, when entering the amount I ate in MFP I should enter 220 g instead of 100 g, right?

@frhaberl Thanks for tips. I didn't know that walking has such am impact on visceral fat. I don't walk 5 times a week but I do walk 1 or 2 times per week, each time for around 1h30m for a total of 8 km at 5.5 km/h, so I guess there is some benefit from those walks to reducing my belly fat. I will keep that in my mind.

@cmriverside: Thanks for valuable insights and your whole reply. I think it's cookies not heredity :) Ha~ I don't recall anyone in my family had problems with cholesterol, at least not big problems. But I will still listen to your advices and try to eliminate the unhealthy food. Wow, this whole MFP thing is actually eye…

Thanks a lot for being specific! I appreciate it very much.

@cmriverside Thanks a lot for reply. I have to study the protein source spreadsheet link you attached here. It looks like it will be of massive help to me to improve my nutrition. What a great community is here at MFP. Amazing!

Thanks all for answers. Yes, I am trying to lose my belly fat and build some muscles (nothing excessive, just to be a little visible). I am nowhere near overweight person, infact, my weight is very appropriate for my age and height, I believe, except the bellyfat which is the only part I would like to correct. I asked…
