Yum! (especially home made) Veal parm

I've got a craving for my homemade chili, the best, but I feel too lazy to make it!

Never had one but it sounds yum! Turkey Club sandwich

Corina, I'd like to try that fruit/yogurt/Fiber One idea. I've never had Fiber One cereal but mixed with the other ingredients it seems like it would be tasty. Granola is so insanely high in calories!

Thanks for the suggestions, Ann. I like the frozen berry/Greek yogurt idea. Where can I buy PB powder? I hear in mentioned in the forums from time to time, but I've never seen it. I have difficulty moderating chocolate candy. I used to eat fun-size Snickers, but they left me yearning, and I'd end up eating 3 or 4 (or more)…

The fires. :'( We may have to evacuate.

Well, I didn't reach my New Year's goal. I gave in to holiday treat-eating and gained two pounds. At 180 now. Back on the horse. Going to look at this as a learning experience. How can I avoid this happening next year? I just became so overwhelmed with all the chocolate and cookies surrounding me. Still, I don't feel bad…

Yuck, how gross! I hope you reported him! What are guys thinking when they do stuff like that? I suppose it's like a "flasher" mentality.

Never heard of it but it sounds pretty good. I like wraps and hopefully the chicken is not overly spicy. Falafel pita sandwich
-
The cereal? Yuck. Loved sugar-y cereals as a kid, not now. Cheerios with milk and fresh fruit

On weekends, I have the same breakfast: one container 2% Fage yogurt and one Chobani yogurt fruit drink (I like peach, mango, or strawberry-banana). This is just prior to my hour-long morning walk. My body seems to like that shot of sugar. Immediately after my walk I have two scoops of whey blended with water (chocolate or…

I have the same goal as you! I weighed in this past Thursday at 180. If I can get to 170 by March 20 (first day of Spring, ten weeks away from Thursday) I'll be thrilled! It will be the lowest I've been in a long, long time (at least 6 years).

Not really. I don't care for chunks of stuff in my ice cream ice cream sandwich

Yum yum yum! Peanut butter and banana sandwich

I'm a member of the 200+ Ladies thread. It gets renewed every month. It's for 200+ ladies or those who used to be 200 lbs and upwards who are in the process of aiming for their goal weight. It's a relatively small group but a lively group. I agree with everything that's been said here about the predators/scammers. I wish…

Are you consuming a lot of carbs and salty foods? That can translate into water weight.

OMG YUM!!!!! I don't make them too often because I have trouble keeping my hands off of them. Pecan pie
-
Ha ha forgot all about that. Not especially nutritious but delicious!

I'm going to be waaaay in the minority and say no. I despise anything but traditional toppings on pizza. I'm a native New Yorker and that's the way we like it.

Scrambled egg 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese

Don't think I've had it but I like any kind of cheesecake cheese blintzes

Yum! Strawberry tart with custard

Weighed myself this morning (Thursday is going to be my weigh-in day, since Jan 1, 2026, falls on a Thursday). 180. My holiday weight gain was not as bad as I originally thought. My short-term goal now is to lose 10 pounds by the first day of Spring, Thursday, March 20. It's 10 weeks away! I didn't progress nearly as much…

Christina, no Olive Garden today, no work, there is a power outage, in fact, a lot of power outages due to the fires we've been having. Power company oftentimes cuts the power during fires to avoid the risk of downed power lines and other calamities. So I'm home. going to have a beef kebab for lunch with mixed vegetables.…

From personal experience, I can tell you that going below 19% bodyfat and staying there long term was impossible. Just to stay at 19% I was eating a VERY strict diet of chicken, tuna, egg white omelets, steamed vegetables, salads, and a limited amount of carbs like yam and brown rice. AND working a 3 on, 1 off split which…

rorymason, don't feel bad, I've had days like that too. Important thing is to figure out what triggered it and get back on the horse. Whatever weight you've gained is water weight from all those carbs. Wait a few days to weigh yourself, then go back to your usual weigh-in schedule.

This is a really good post. I often get sweet cravings at night. I simply brush my teeth right after dinner and go to bed early. Helps a lot. I also make hubs hide his candy, so I don't go foraging.

Thanks Ann! Actually, I'm not doing too bad, I'm up to 13gs and I haven't even had lunch!

Strength training will not increase your hip width. Those are fat deposits and genetically determined. Some women carry weight in their buttocks, or thighs, or stomach, some on their hips. Strength training will actually improve your appearance by balancing out your figure. Work on the back and shoulders in particular.
