loved this super simple recipe I made tonight. You mix the spices & olive oil to make a marinade then add your zucchini, chicken (I used Ouorn meatless cutlets) & onion. Bake on 425 for 30 minutes! happy with how this new recipe turned out. Whole family enjoyed it (even my 4&5 yr olds). Quick & easy, 1 pan. Nutritious. Bag of qourn meatless chicken pieces . Bunch of asparagus Head of broccoli Fresh pesto Bag of frozen peas Salt & pepper. squeezed half a lemon over the top.

I appreciate the help & words! I feel fine for the most part, just stressing over what is next for my treatment. I got referred to a specialist so I’m sure it will be over soon. I eat lots of Greek yogurt & my cottage cheese also have live cultures. I’m going to go try to eat some garlic.

ugh..I’m sooo hungry today. I just ate 2 boiled egg whites & I still want to eat. Ive been so tempted to just throw in the towel today & binge. But I know that could easily throw me off track. It’s 5 o’clock & I only have a lil over 400 calories for my dinner & beyond.. this hasn’t been my best week

I bounce around 2-5 lbs all week long. Not really losing anything, then I drop a lb all of a sudden. I’ve lost 3.4 lbs in a month. I have to weigh myself at the same time everyday or my weight is all whacky.

I’m definitely a sugar addict! I used to snack on candy & treats ALL DAY! The more I eat healthy I find myself craving it less, I think healthy foods help level out your blood sugar. Also I’ve found that frozen grapes are my go to snack when I’m craving my favorite hard candy.

I second the post from above! If you really want to get serious, use measuring cups to make your plate. Make your plate less than you would normally eat & go back for seconds if you are still hungry. I usually do not go back for seconds but, if it’s already on my plate I feel I need to clear my plate. I do not do the food…

I can relate 100% to this. I’m a stay at home mom of 2 under 5 & it’s hard to remember that I have my own wants & needs in life because I’m always doing something (mostly unappreciated) for my family. I have extreme anxiety. Especially when my kids are not with me. When they are at school, with grandparents..etc. I over eat to take my mind off of my irrational thoughts.

I make a chic pea salad with, Chic peas Green onions Celery Red grapes Mayo (I need to find a lighter substitute) A lil mustard Dash of dried dill & poultry seasoning.

I did the okios coco, peanut butter yesterday! It was very good! I will have to try the mixed berry. I also discovered that I can get lots of fruit in if I take some 0 sugar ready whip & put it on my fruit! 15 calories per 2 tablespoons, I stir my fruit in so the whip is covering it. Really yummy dessert replacement

I ate 300+ extra calories today..& it’s the first time in 2 weeks I didn’t long something I ate. I knew I was way over, so I just felt discouraged to log it. I did get in my longest strength training workout in today. I felt good mentally & physically I’m not sure why I over ate. Tomorrow is a new day.

I’ve been trying to add more yogurt/milk, egg whites into my diet. I’m still falling a bit short. Maybe I’ll hold off on the powder. Some days I’m meeting my 85g goal but I really have to focus on eating protein rich foods.

I did a great 20 min strength workout today..but then I turned around and ordered a BLT with homemade (fried) potato chips… only 750 calories left for the day (only 1pm now). Feeling guilty, especially since my weight was up on the scale this morning. What am I doing!! Lol
