Returned this evening from a business trip and managed a 2.5 mile run on the treadmill in the hotel! Finished out the month over my new target! Bring on October!

I finished W8D2 on Thursday morning on the treadmill. It is easier than outside and I was able to go for 35 minutes. I could see my pace and realized that I am actually running faster outside (maybe that is why it was easier!). Came home a little early tonight in order to get W8D1 in before my pilates class. It was a success and I was able to go for 34 minutes instead of 28! Yeah me! I was slower than Sunday but I don't mind too much. I am really running!!! I will try the treadmill for the first time on Thursday. Let's see how that goes. :huh:…

Thanks for the tips! I am going to Germany and not too hopeful about the weather! Just passed my new goal! HIked outside of Madrid with my husband and Jack Russell for 6 km (our estimate). It was a beautiful afternoon and our dog even went swimming in the small creek. We finished with a healthy picnic. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Ticker updated!

Went another 4.5 miles this afternoon on a wonderful run in Retiro Park. Gotta love the fall seaon, still sunny with a cooler breeze. I am getting closer to my second goal! Keep on moving everyone!

Bit off more than I can chew! So I tried to do W7D1 last night and was only able to run 19 minutes instead of the 25. However, it is my own fault. I decided that I had to get the run in and did it after my pilates class. Since no one else showed up for the class, it was a great session just for me and it killed my butt.…

Just finished W6D3 and it went well. Was slow enough in the beginning to finish without a serious struggle. I also added two more 5 minute intervals on the way home. Looks like there is no more walking for me. Week 7 is three 25 minutes. LOOK OUT - HERE I COME!
