  • I totally understand the dehydration, I drink so much water and still deal with it. The Spiro took a good 6 months to see the positive effects, and my Endocrinologist said that was even early to see results. I agree, biohack!!!
  • October 2017, add me too!
  • I had no idea!!! I am getting a dress custom made for me through Etsy, so I guess it won't have a real "size" on it, but I want to be in a size 12 before I wear it.
  • I have a year before my wedding (my SO is in the military, and we gotta wait on them to let him go!) so I'm hoping to get something done! Congrats on your wedding as well!
  • I agree with all above posts; I am on 1500mg of Metformin (high, I know, but it works) and 150mg of Spriolactone. Those medications only work with me if I maintain a LC diet, which my Endocrinologist recommended. At first the Metformin was really, really, really, hard to get used to. You guys know what I am talking…
  • Didn't notice if anyone mentioned Spiro, but that stuff has been a life saver. No more back/chest hair (ew), very decreased facial hair, no more acne and my hair is growing on my head again! I was seriously getting some male pattern baldness. Metformin has helped tremendously with my appetite, but I log my food and do my…
  • I did three days a week when working the program, and now typically run 4 or 5. I do strength training after (I alternate leg and arm days, and always do some stomach crunches!), and do that 4 or 5 days a week. I've noticed some hip problems, so if that's bothering me, I'll do an easier impact workout on the elliptical…
  • I'd say adjust your schedule to reflect your working schedule - eat breakfast when you wake up, lunch halfway and dinner as your last meal. Can you prepare things and keep them in a fridge @ work? I work variable hours sometimes, most of the time I work 9-5, but 2 nights a week I work 12-8. I stick to the same exact…
  • I agree with the above post, goto local fresh fruit/veggie stands and get what's cheapest. I am fortunate to have a great stand close that has a "discount" section - you have to use it within the next 5/6 days. Well, I just choose from there and make my meals around it. I have never spent over $10 on veggies this way, and…
  • It started as "I don't digest red meat well", but I started leaning more and more away from all of it. You start looking into practices, where this stuff is coming from, and the suffering that goes into it, and well, it wasn't a hard choice.
  • Anyone feel free to add me - I've lost 43lbs from my highest weight, and I would love to help someone just starting out. I've got 57 pounds until my goal weight - let's do this!!!
  • I've noticed the same thing OP, my appetite isn't nearly what it used to be - the first few weeks of my "diet", I was STARVING all the time, but lately, I believe my stomach has actually gotten smaller because I eat more often and have smaller meals. I no longer stuff myself until I ache. I just track using the MFP app,…
