By the day, even by the meal. Take care of the ounces and the pounds take care of themselves.

I've been just over, at, and now just under 2000 for my entire journey so far. You need to get better at reading labels and making better substitutions. I use 96/4 lean beef. 130 cal for a quarter pound. The bread I use is 35 calories a slice. Kraft lowfat 2% cheese slices.. 25 calories a slice. Heinz low sugar ketchup, 10…

The amount of carbs and sodium in those Hot-n-Sweatys will have you retaining so much extra water your scale will certainly go up. If you have made any progress in the last 2 and a half weeks, kiss it goodbye. At least for a while until you flush all the water out. That could take up to a week. So yeah, it won't be…

If you want to add protein without adding a bunch of other carbs, fat, and calories as other people are suggesting you do, just stay with a protein shake once or twice a day.

Buy a tailor's tape. Take measurements. Keep doing what you're doing. Don't get discouraged by the scale. It WILL move!

I'm working on it.. You see.. after all the effort it took to burn the fat covering the 6 pack, I hardly have the extra energy to smile!

Mine are mostly current, the ones that aren't have the date it was taken on it.

I'm with you. Yeah it's ok to hit taco bell once in a great while. It's not going to kill you or stop your progress dead in your tracks. But to say "the body doesn't care where the gram of fat, protein, or carbs come from" is ignorant. Saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated are very different. Fructose and glucose are…

protein to maintain the muscle you have. Muscle burns calories. then you need a calorie deficit to get rid of the fat covering them. Lots of water to help the skin stay hydrated and tighten up. Ab and especially core exercises to build them a little and make them pop.

I'm an auto tech, so I'm pretty active.

I always find bmi a bit funny. Mine calculates the old way to about 27, the new way to about 25. Both say I'm overweight. However my bodyfat percentage classifies me as "athlete" so I think I like that one better!

If anything ever happened to my son, I would literally fall over and die of a broken heart. I can't live without him.

I can't sleep without a body pillow unless I'm in a chair.

You pull off a lot of different looks well

I'd like to thank ALL the ladies for posting up. very fun thread! You are all hot!

Ball park it with similar foods. 50-100 calories either way won't kill you if you still finish at or near your goal. It's just 1 meal.

Interesting topic, I enjoyed this one. I think I may have been every shape and size mentioned at some point!

All carbs get broken down into sugar, or to be more specific, glycogen. Fruit sugar is already 80% converted when we eat it so it does not take as long to become glycogen. Fruit is outstanding nutritionally, and the sugar in it is fast absorbing. It's great pre and post workout food. But we need to use the entry it…

Depends on where you go for basic. Ft Jackson is HOT in the summer but the di's are a little easier. If it's Ft. Benning I would not leave a single hair to chance. Other places have their trends too.

There is no correct answer to this question. See you in the next thread.

Yes, I use them from time to time. Mainly at home, since at work I'm always busy enough that I'll drink a gallon or 2 of plain water. However I use the Meijer brand because it's cheaper. Ballin' on a budget..

Saw the commercial for that.. looked interesting. If I get stuck someplace and need to eat and there's a carl's jr nearby I might give it a try. I would rather make my own lunch. Just had 2 hot dogs, a cheeseburger, and a yogurt.. still stayed under 500 calories.
