  • I drink Barefoot Pinot Girgio and I'm not giving it up but will add it to my trakcer this weekend. :drinker:
  • Try buying the Campbell's Select Harvest soups. They are packed with veggies and nutrients. The are low in sodium and calories. I found 2 coupons in Sundays paper for them too.
  • Good luck. I'm hoping to sit for a healthcare exam to to get certified in medical coding. It's been 2 years since I graduated sooo. I dodn't know if I could pass now or not. I've got to call the AHIMA and get myself set up for it. You can do it. Just believe in yourself.

  • havingitall is right. Sodium can make you retain a lot of water. I recommend that when you drink your water add just a little bit of lemon. It's a natural diuretic. It could flush out all that water you maybe retaining.
  • Will do. My husband picked up the package for me today. I'll let you know how it turns out.

  • Me too. I order Martini's because of their names. hahaha. Miller lite has 96 calories if you like beer. That's what I drink. I haven't tried the Miller 64.
  • My personal trainer says that's the BEST cardio exercise and burns more calories than any other cardio equipment because it works the entire body.
  • My god I just thought it was just me that it was happening to.
  • Welcome. And yes this is an awesome site. Just set your mind to it and anything is possible. This site helps you stay on track.

  • I've posted to several post this morning. But I've had a really bad week. I didn't get to gym at all. My step-dad passed away on Sunday Feb. 22 and I've been dealing with the funeral all week. So I've been kinda bummed. I finally went back to work yesterday. I worked 10 hours yesterday and I will work about 9 today. The…

  • I remember this post too. I've had great results. 2/12 141.4 2/19 139.4 2/27 138.4 I couldn't be more excited. If I can lose a pound a week I'll be happy. This weekend is my anniversary weekend so not sure what I'll weight next week. Guess I'll have to work out extra hard next week.
  • I got out of the 140's last week too! I'm as excited as your are. It's a great feeling. Congrat's. I weighed in at 138.4 this morning and couldn't believe it. People at work were saying I think you've lost some more weight. So I just couldn't stand it and went and weighed myself again. And I had. Only 1 pound but every…
  • I do love working out too. And you're right it's a great stress reliever.
  • I'm at a 1200 intake too, however the exercise calories that get added are nice. So you feel like you can eat a little more. I wasn't having any success until I cut out the lunches that I was eating at work. Remember this has to be a lifestyle change. And exercise is key!
  • I've been working with a personal trainer for 6 months and he wasn't training me properly. I lost nothing. Then I got a new trainer and we have done weight training and cardio for the past 2 weeks. I've lost 2 lbs that fast! This week we did circuit training. I burned 632 calories at the gym alone yesterday. I couldn't…
  • I too love beer! But there are 96 calories in Miller Lite. So I really have to limit myslef on the days that I plan to drink. Last weekend. We went out and I think I had 3-4 beers, but I cut way back on my calories for eating and I exercised so that I could have the extra calories for the beer on Saturday night. And yes…
  • That's to funny!
  • I love this site too! I'm so busy and stressed right now that it's hard for me to get on everyday. But you're right. NO More Excuses! Happy Losing!
  • I've finally lost 2 pounds. I can't believe it. The new personal trainer is working out. We started circuit training Tuesday. It's been a really hard week for me. Almost 3 months ago my step-dad was burned in an electrical explosion at his job. He is still in critical condtion at the JC Burn Center in Chapel Hill, NC.…
  • SherryRH I know exactly how you feel. At the beginning of this week was very hard for me. I didn't work out Monday but I have the rest of the week and man do I feel better. I don't know if you're doing to much either that's a question you have to answer for yourself. But I will say this. Sometimes they body does need a…
  • Just like someone else said. No one is writing you off. I didn't lose any weight this week either. i stayed even. But I really think that the reason the scale isn't moving with me is because of the muscle I feel like I'm putting on. I'm being really strict with myself until I go to Vegas in 5 weeks. My trainer and I are…
  • this is totally possible if you are just starting out. You may be losing a lot of "water weight". I'm no expert but that's what I've always been told. Especially if you are drinking a lot of water.

  • I don't think you are failing either. Look at me. Not one pound lost. However, I felt pretty good yesterday so I had my "new" trainer measure me and the measurements are telling a whole different story. I've lost another inch in my stomach, and inch off my arms and and inch off my thighs. So I guess I'm just burning a lot…

  • I don't think I blew it, but I had things, I probably shouldn't have. Chicken wings, crap dip, pretzel flats, and of course BEER! hahaha. We had a veggie pizza that we made at home, so I think that was okay. I was able to control what when on the pizza and it was very good! But I like the rest of ya. I'll be working out…
  • I want to join too. I wanted to be down to at least 135 by march 26. That's the day I leave for Vegas! I would love to be at 130 by May when I go to the Lake for the first time. I want to shock all the people that saw me last year and I felt awful. Everyone had lost some weight except for me. Weighed this morning 141.0 I…
  • hahaha. When I first read this I thought huh? But, since it's just me and my hubby at home we out right much. On the weekends especially. During the week it isn't that bad. Maybe once. But the weekends is what kills us. But I try to make healthy choices at the restaruants we do go to.
  • So sorry to hear about your Mom. i did the same thing you did over the holdiays. The weekend before Thanksgiving my step-dad was critically burned in an explosion at his job. It's hard and I totally understand. You just have to make yourself get back on track and tell yourself that everything's going to be okay. You and…
  • Hahaha! I've been there. I'll be there later this week. I work out with a trainer 3 times a week and I hurt until the weekend, when my body actually can recover. I love Monday's because that's usually the hardest day to make myself go. Once I'm there I'm good, but the next day I can hardly move. I've been so sick lately.…
  • That's great! Keep up the good work. I had a rough holiday so I've not been on here in a while. But, I'm back and focused now. I know what you mean by your starting weight. I thought I was a little lighter than what I was when i weighed too. Hang in there!:drinker:
