Just enjoy your night. I'm having a night out on Saturday, i allocate 1000 calories and then enjoy myself. On a good week i'll pull back my calories to accomodate the overspend, otherwise I just let it go and try and convince myself that the 3/4 hours of dancing make up for it!

So eat 400 cals less tomorrow or go do some exercise.... OR deal with it and eat normally for the rest of the week. Problem solved.

My evening meals quite often get upto 1,000 calories.... so without knowing what your daily caolrie goal is and knowing what else you ate, i'm kinda failing to see the issue!

I wouldn't go for the duck - confit means slow cooked in fat. It's delicious but if you want to keep calories down i'd stay away.

They can't sack you for informing them but they have every right not to pay for you to go on a training course if you've told them you're leaving, it's a waste of money as far as their concerned. You should have got a start date before you told them in lieu, make it clear that you will work the 4 weeks notice ONCE you hand…

For me, just keep logging. Even if you 'fall off the wagon' and buy the junk food. Log it. It really helps to get your head back into the right space.

I get up at 6, hop on the train at 7 to be at work at 9. I couldn't physcially eat between getting up and getting on the train, so I eat when I get to work. Usually an instant porridge pot or something similar... If you can't face eating when you get up, don't eat. Have a snack mid-morning or something. No biggie.

I count, before if there are definate plans and after if we're just going with the flow. DRINK! I drink heavily about once a fortnight. I allocate 2000 calories (as quick adds) and let that cover my drinks and inevitable chips and cheese afterwards. I wouldn't worry about it. My weight goes in peaks and troughs. I wouldn't start looking at making changes until you've gained twice in a row (i'm talking weekly WI not daily) then it's something more than your body being tricksy.
