Currently I'm 7bls away from my lowest adult weight. I lost a little weight before a few years back but I'll be surpassing that amount for the first time, and I'm really looking forwards to it.

SW:258 CW:227 For me it was right away. I'm 5'7" and I tend to 'thin out' visually even though I'm still very big. People started to notice about 10lbs in. Now people really notice and some are telling me to stop but I still have another 82-92lbs to lose.

That it actually does get easier if you stick with it. I once hated water now I reach for it whenever I'm thirsty. I was afraid of giving up what I wanted to eat (crap) for clean eating; now I shop for healthy, organic foods with occasional treats. I used to hate exercise with a passion. Now if I don't get at least 5 hours…

Decided to switch things up and work out at home today. I did a 3 mile walk/aerobics video that I hadn't done in about 8 months. Eight months ago doing this work out (48 min long) resulted in me pausing numerous times, shortness of breath, having to stop for water, pain, and sometimes quitting right in the middle of it.…

How easy it is to gain a few pounds back when you've had a few cheat meals in a weekend, lol. Opps. Caught myself and back on board.

I had to run some errands for my grandparents and they asked me to grab them McDonald's for lunch before stopping over. They requested my favorite past time meal, too. I'm pleased to say that I not only didn't order anything; I didn't even steal a french fry.

How quickly people start treating you differently. One day you're invisible or barely noticed, the funny one; the next you're the center of attention like you've been suddenly thrust on stage and haven't had rehearsal.

My size 16 jeans (stretchy) were too baggy to ignore so I decided to add some jeans to my temporary wardrobe. I hadn't really shopped since my starting weight of 258 and I was pleased to fit snugly into a pair of size 12s :D

Last summer I started to walk around my neighborhood. It took me about 15 min to get around. Today I decided to skip the gym and get some fresh air and not only did it take me way less time to get around; I ran in 80% of the way. Also, getting snacks or meals and being fine with not eating everything.

Fitting into an XL. I've been wearing a 2-3x for years now. Feels great!

That sugar is hiding in everything if you don't know where to look for it. I was drinking what I believe to have been natural, juice but failed to realize juice and sugar was keeping my gut so big. The week I cut it out my belly fat dropped noticably and I got out of the 230's after being stuck 3 months. Doh! Now I stick…

That you'll go grocery shopping and it will dawn on you that sales people and men will go out of their way to help you with things yet 30lbs ago it was like you didn't exist. It's not that you didn't get the help/smiles before so much, it's more that you're subconciously aware that this time just feels different. An a ha,…

That no matter how far you come all it takes is a snowballing effect to knock you off track. Thankfully once you recognize the pattern you can get back to being on top of things. Some days you'll look in the mirror during your journey and struggle with whether you like the new you you're becoming or not.

Been running a lot more on the treadmill at the gym. Using the elliptical at higher levels for 30 min straight without stopping.

Getting back in the grove of things. Losing 10lbs in Feb :)

Being cold often. With my heat up to 85. It also doesn't help that my master bedroom is poorly insulated with 20ft ceilings and the doors leading out to the balcony have a bit of a draft so it's the coldest place in my home, yet the place I prefer to spend the most time curled up in. More looks/flirtation and date offers…

Losing another 5lbs in the next 2 weeks before my trip overseas. I'll finally be in well into the 220s.

Everyone looks amazing! So proud of you all

36lbs until 199. I cannot wait! Down 23lbs as well :) We can do this!
-
I can relate. It's amazing what you're willing to do to get the results you desire. Before I joined a gym I was outside walking in the heat, rain, and cold!

Running on the treadmill and using the elliptical for 30 min without keeling over :dizzy:

I wouldn't deal with it. I'd surround myself with new friends. However, if you do want to keep them around, have a chat with them and explain exactly what you're explaining to us. Ask them if your change is making them uncomfortable and what you can do together to patch things up. Thing is, you've changed and it doesn't…

I thought this was about chow hall food, lol. I was gonna say, yeah, I've been on that one before, haha.

Today I noticed I don't have any more chubrub! Also, I can touch my face to my shoes again while stretching in the butterfly position. Before when I used to dance as a teen/child it was easy but once my gut took over it was impossible. Not anymore :D

Losing the first 30lbs. Just 2lbs away.

Tried on several once too small/tight dresses and crop tops which finally fit. Also, finding my 'wedding dress' (courthouse, military wedding) which I was busting out of a few years ago on my wedding day and fast forward 3 years I'm down a few dress sizes and a husband and couldn't feel any happier!
-
How good you feel when trying on old once too tight clothes which now fit perfectly. In a few months you might have to give them up for a smaller size so get your wear out of them while you can!
-
Great job, you look like a completely different person!
-
I used to huff and puff on the elliptical needing to slow down or break. Now I fly when on it; even after I've used the treadmill for 30 min.

23lbs down from working out at home/walking around my neighborhood's block. I just joined a gym today to kick things up a notch and avoid the cold outdoors once the snow falls. It's absolutely possible to lose weight from home.
