I'll join you. Been struggling with binge eating for months. Finally seem to have got over it in the last few weeks but I think it would do me good to go a whole month

Mine are in my profile pic. I used to have dimples at the back before I lost weight but I don't now. Exercise and not eating junk food worked for me but everyone's different and some supermodels have dimples

It's a great difference, well done you!

I aim for 1800, feel free to add me to see my diary.

I'm doing my 3rd on 10th May and I've just started training. I feel like I'm starting from scratch as for various reasons I haven't done a decent run since November. I found Hal Higdon's plan really good last time

I'm 5'6 and I keep changing mine as I'm still storing fat on my stomach. I agree that goal setting is hard as you don't know what a certain weight will look like on you. I started at 11st and thought I would look how I wanted at 10st, then 9.5st etc. I'm currently 9st 4lbs but I'm aiming for 9st

I'm 5ft 6 and I weight 131lbs at the moment and you look lighter than me

I've never done this before but I'd be happy to mentor someone. I'm 28, married with no kids and I do a full time office job. I've never been over weight as such but I was borderline a couple of years ago and I decided to do something about it in May 2013. Since then I've made a total lifestyle change, lost 21lbs and have…

I've been here for a few years. Goals this January were to maintain my weight as I had already lost what I needed to lose, get a lot more toned and run a half marathon. I've achieved all of those things

Not sure if I will manage this as we have a trip away with my husbands work at the end of the month and I'll have very little control over my diet. But I will give it my best shot :-) SW: 151 CW: 132.25 GW for November: 127 Weigh in Dates: Start of Month (11/1 Saturday): 132.25 11/8 Sat: 11/15 Sat: 11/22 Sat: 11/29 Sat:…

I find the treadmill and crosstrainer give me the highest calorie burn. If you have a lot to lose I would say go for a decent amount of cardio to help you create a good calorie deficit. If you can't run you can still burn a lot of calories by walking on the treadmill at an incline

Get rid of the food in your bedroom if it's bad stuff. You have to just not buy it and not be around it if you are struggling with willpower.
-
I do kind of get where you are coming from. I seem to have gone from someone who wanted to hide in the background to someone who wears the tight lycra clothes and looks like they live in the gym.
-
5'6, SW: 151 lbs CW: 133 lbs GW: 126 lbs I would love to be 9 stone but fairly happy now. I've gone from a UK size 12 to an 8 with my fairly small loss
-
because I want to start looking like someone that works out 6 times a week and stop spoiling it with bad food choices
-
I love mine and use it for outside runs, treadmill runs and gym classes

It sounds like you are being too hard on yourself to me and there's too much negative talk going on in your head when you are running. I know when I go out and I'm not in the right mindset the negative self talk can almost have a physical effect and I don't run as well. You need to find a way to be proud of yourself for…

For a 5k I started at around 11.5 min miles and I'm now on 9 - 9.5 min miles after a year of running. Don't worry about your pace at all as long as you are getting some exercise and enjoying yourself. Remind yourself of how many people never even have a go at running!
-
Feel free to add me. I still run a few times a week but I'm getting quite into Strength work and lifting. I try to do 2 -3 sessions a week of lots of arm work, bench presses, deadlifts etc. I've got my first Spartan Race on Sunday so I've been training for that.
-
Thanks for the words of encouragement :-). I think I need to remember that it's not just me and people will help each other like you say.
-
I'm doing my first one on Sunday, a Sprint in the UK. I'm in the best shape I've ever been in but I'm terrified. I'm sure I won't be able to climb anything :-S
-
Sorry I'm a bit confused as 9km in 20 mins doesn't seem to add up. Running 9km in 20 minutes would put you in the Olympics. For an actual run it's fairly safe to work on 100 calories per mile.

What a lovely post, we should look to other women for inspiration but instead we so often put them down. Well done you :-)
-
I don't have a meal plan but my diary is open so feel free to have a nosey for ideas. I'm trying to get 100 - 140g a day depending on how much exercise I do.
-
This list is very helpful http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/926789-protein-sources I do find it more expensive to get to my protein macro's every day but the main things I use are tinned tuna, protein shakes, eggs and cottage cheese. You can pick up some fairly cheap protein shakes from places like MyProtein

What a difference, you look amazing!

I'm 5ft 6 and my goal is 130lbs, |'m 134lbs at the moment which really suits my frame but I'd still like to shift a bit of belly fat if I can. I was 151lbs at my heaviest and it didn't suit me, I have a small chest so it all sat on my stomach and hips. I'm a UK 8-10 at this weight, I was a 12.
-
I wasn't thin when I started but I wasn't fat either. 5ft 6 151lbs and I'm now 134lbs, aiming for 130lbs. It's taken me just over a year to lose that amount but I think the progress can be a bit slower when you don't have as much to lose.
-
I think I'm a 14 but I want to be a 5

Feel free to ad me. I'm on every day, I exercise 4-6 times a week but I'm not always the best with my diet!
