Oh and kmburns3 - yes it is very overwelming!!! I have been looking at maternity clothes too even though I know I won't need them for a while (I'm due Sept. 24).

Hi again all - I've been having mild abdominal pressure (and the occasional cramp) - those also scare me as I had a m/c in October. But, I'm just hoping it's the uterus stretching and not something else!! As far as other symptoms go, they still seem to be there, which I am thankful for. I have nausea that comes and goes,…

LOL I love your description of the lady on your yoga dvd. I love yoga. I have occasional back / sciatic nerve pain, and yoga is a HUGE help. It also helps me sleep better. Before I was pregnant I liked a DVD workout called Trudie Styler's Warrior Yoga. I really liked the 25-minute routine - it seemed to really stretch me…

Me too. I love the Palmer's Cocoa Butter (both the tummy butter and massage cream). It smells delicious and is thick enough to prevent my skin from getting itchy!!

Salt!! We went to a Mexican restaurant and I salted every single chip. It was delicious. (And now sounds gross, but I loved it!!)

Hi all!! I'm 37 and pregnant with my first. I'm due Sept. 24. I had a m/c in October so am really hoping for a sticky baby this time! Hope you are all doing well. I'm trying to eat healthy, but like lots of you, I am nauseous. I seem to be ok in the morning, but get more and more nauseous throughout the day. Definitely…

LOVE this post!! You look great - thanks for sharing your story! I had about 17 lbs to lose and have about 9 left. It is taking me a LONG time and it is hard!!!! 18 lbs is a big deal - you look wonderful!!

Of course we all know that diet and exercise (cardio and strength training / calesthenics) are the way to tone up, but I actually do think skin firming lotions have helped me a little bit. I really like the Nivea skin firming lotion (the one with CQ10). That one seems to help the most. You can buy the store brand of it and…

I'm really bad about drinking water too!! One thing that's really been helping me is that I got an electric kettle for my office, and I make black tea and herbal teas throughout the day (and make sure to log my water intake here on MFP). I consider tea to be about equal to water (especially herbal tea!), even though I know…

5'2". Goal is 114-115. 114 just b/c it would be fun to be below 115 LOL I'm currently 125 (+/- 2 lbs depending on the day... argh, if I could just get them to stay off and get below 123 this week that would be GREAT). I still look pretty poochy in the arms, butt and stomach, but am starting to get a little more toned. 10…

Wow - congrats!!! That's quite an accomplishment!!! Keep it up!! :-)

Same boat here. I have about 10 lbs to lose and it's going pretty slowly. I wasn't losing weight for a while, so I started eating a little more (about 150-250 more calories a day) and definitely making sure I was netting 1200 calories (eating back exercise calories) and I started dropping pounds. I started eating that way…

Hi ladies - hope some of you keep posting. I'd love the motivation! I'm getting married in April and would like to lose 10-15 lbs. I'm 5'2" so that is quite a bit of weight. I was down 10 lbs about 2 years ago and would like to get back there. My biggest problems are my arms (yuck - pretty flabby), poochy belly and jiggly…

LOL!!! Our kitten walks on the keyboard too. This is a really funny comic about cats trying to get your attention when you're on the computer: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/cat_vs_internet

Love this! 1. Fage 0% Greek Yogurt cups with fruit (blueberry acai, strawberry goji, cherry pomegranate, etc.) 2. string cheese 3. homemade trail mix (peanuts, raisins, m&m's, or pecans, goji berries, m&m's) 4. salmon 5. rotisserie chicken 6. salads 7. peanut butter w/ an apple, banana, carrots, or celery 8. spaghetti,…

BUMP! I have back pain and sciatic nerve pain... bumping to see what others say they do! I find that getting up and walking (slowly) every hour for at least 5-15 minutes is a huge help when my back/butt is hurting. Yoga is helpful too, but when my back hurts, I need to go really slow. I have found that even when I walk or…

Thanks for the recommendation! I love ballet... I'm going to look for that one.

Shakybabe, Greek yogurt is strained yogurt, so it's thicker than "regular" yogurt. It is a slightly different consistency. Some people like it, and some don't. To me, Greek yogurt tastes creamier. I'm not sure what natural means - but that isn't the same word as Greek. If it doesn't give a flavor (like vanilla, strawberry…

Yes I do have DirecTV. I'll have to look into that... I didn't realize they had yoga on demand. Thanks! I have been wondering about Rodney Yee... maybe I should give him a try. Thanks again.

Shakybabe, I love chocolate milk too! I have a glass of 1% milk mixed with some Hershey's syrup with dinner sometimes (which is usually about an hour after I exercise). YUM! :-) I don't think it really matters what type of yogurt is it... but I really like Greek yogurt. I have a thing of Fage Total 0% Greek Yogurt almost…

Glad you both liked it! I made some notes to remind myself of a few things!

Thanks for the tips! I don't have a Wii, but I've heard it's fun to do their workouts. It looks like you have to pay for a Roku subscription to get the videos? I'll keep looking. I've done a few searches online for yoga videos but it's always helpful to hear suggestions from other people on ones they like. I'm looking for…

I've had this, or sciatia. Not sure which it is for me b/c I haven't been to the doctor but what works for me is to ease into working out after a flare up. I walk and do yoga. Eventually you'll be able to add in more cardio. But start slow!!
-
Can you please add me as well? I started yesterday (Jan. 3) - this is my first time trying 30DS or anything Jillian Michaels... and WOW it was hard!!!! I'm so sore today!! I'm really hoping for some good results. I'm watching what I eat too so hopefully I can lose both lbs and inches.

Hi ladies! April 2012 for me... still have some pudge to lose... about half way there!

Sometimes I forget to eat lunch until mid-afternoon too... I know how easy it is to loose track of time. I use a lot of reminders (in Outlook or my phone) to remind myself to do things for a few weeks when I'm starting something new and that seems to help. Even if you don't like eating breakfast, make yourself do it for a…
