Welcome Pete! I'm a personal trainer and fitness instructor and I'm ALWAYS telling my clients that they would be so flabbergasted to see how many calories they actually consume each day if they would only track their food!! It's okay to go over your max. Go by perceived exertion...do you feel like you are going to die if you are over your max, or does it just feel like you are working really hard? You obviously don't want to stay over-max for the entire workout, but certainly for periods of time it is okay.

Yes. I know several people who have been on HCG. Every one of them lost a lot of weight, only one has kept it off. I don't like it at all due to the fact that while you are on the program, you cannot exercise at all because you don't eat enough calories.
