^ Agreed. Cracker chips and popcorn chips are tasty. They only have 110-130 calories per serving, and the servings are a pretty good size too.

5'11" HW: 324lbs LW: not including childhood--when I was much shorter--would have to be my current weight. I think I can remember being somewhere around 220-230lbs back before high school. CW: 217lbs GW: currently, my goal is 200lbs--I'll see how I feel then and go from there. Someday, I'd like to get in the 180-190lb…

For those wondering, I didn't do anything special. I didn't change my diet (I still eat junk - chocolate). I just cut way back on calories (about 1500 per day) and started exercising. I lost 40 lbs prior to joining MFP, by eating a lot less. Then, in August 2011, my doctor told me about MFP, set a goal for me and I've been…

Your right, don't dwell in the past. Make today the first day of your journey. You can do it! I wish you luck :)

Thank-you. I've found that all of the support from my MFP friends and family has really helped me. Good luck to all of you as well. If I can do it, anyone can.

Initially, my driver's license was off by about 50lbs. I lied, saying I was 270, when I was really 320. But, I recently renewed it and am happy to say that I felt pretty good putting down my current weight of 230. No lying this time! Though, I'm kind of jealous of those of you who live in states/countries where you aren't…

Right now I want to get down below 200. I'm thinking somewhere around 160 would be awesome. Though if we're talking sizes, I would be…

^^^^No offense intended, but I do not agree at all. Some parents without a college degree may not be "qualified" to teach. But, parents have been raising their children far longer than the government funded school system has! Parents, who take homeschooling seriously, know that it is going to be hard work. My mother…

I don't plan a cheat day (because then I would definitely overindulge). But, if say (for instance Mother's Day), I am going out to a restaurant with the family, I don't fret about the calories. It's just one day. As long as you don't let it, one day is not going to ruin your efforts! I don't want to become so obsessed with…

I "fell off the wagon" for a couple months too. But, now it's time to get back on track. We can always use a solid support system :)
