    Wrist Cir: 6"
    Large Frame

Based on my current LBM and bf%, and my desired bf%, I have my goal weight at 136.6, which falls just below the high end of this survey's ideal weight...

    I'm 5'8" and my wrist is 6.25".

    Frame Size Medium
    Ideal Weight 136 lbs - 150 lbs

My current goal is 150lbs (BMI of 22) but 139lbs (BMI 21.05) is suggested on ideal weight sites. Both are within the ideal weight range from this calculator and in terms of BMI.
  • Female, 5'7", 6.25 in wrist.

Medium build, 130-144 range. Yup, my goal is within that range.

Yep, mine matches perfectly! 5'2.5, wrist size is 6.3 which said I was a large frame - wasn't sure of that prior to this link and my weight goal is around 135 and it said I can be in the range of 128-143.

I'm curious how accurate this calculator is.
Enter in your gender, height, and wrist circumference.

    http://health.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Frame-Size-Wrist

What is your frame size and ideal weight?
Does your ideal weight range match your current weight goal?

    example:
I am female, 5'8", small frame, and it says my Ideal Weight is 126 lbs - 139 lbs.
    This matches my goal. :)

    Okay, your turn.

    Female / 5'7" / medium frame / ideal weight 133 lbs - 147 lbs

    My goal is 145 lbs

5'2". Small frame. It says my ideal weight is 108-121

Which is cool because I'm often told by people that my goal weight of 110 is "too skinny". At 110, I still have quite a bit of "meat" on my bones. I have the skeleton size of a giant mutant hummingbird or a medium Asian teenager.

Mine adds up. Big range, though.
  • Medium frame with ideal weight from 121-135.

My goal is anywhere between 120 and 130 depending on how I feel. Probably on the higher end.
  • Ok, 5'6", wrist is 6.75, Large Frame, says ideal weight is 140-159. My goal weight is 155 so this is spot on for me.

This. Sort of, my goal is closer to 160 tho.
  • 5'11"
    6.5" wrist--medium frame
    Ideal weight is 145-159 lbs

I want to weigh between 150-165, so this fits :)

    Wrist 6.25 inches, medium frame.

    Says I should be 139-153lbs.

Goal is 154 so just out of range - but I would be fairly small for me at that weight!

I was surprised at how good it was .

5'0" female, 6" wrist. It put me at large framed (not a flattering term, imo) with idea weight between 122 and 137. That's where I tend to be, though I prefer the lower end of that weight range (and that's with a fair amount of muscle).

It is interesting to see the difference in frames. Makes sense now why some women 6" taller than me (and more) have goals lower than mine.

I'm 5'4" and it says small frame; 114 lbs - 127 lbs. I already weight 109lbs, wouldn't mind putting on more if it was muscle though!

Sounds accurate to me. I'm 5'7", large frame. Goal is 143 lbs - 163 lbs. My goal is 159, so right in the wheelhouse. I would consider myself large framed for sure. I have wide shoulders and could never be teeny tiny.

    Large Frame
    It says 197lbs tops. HAhahahahahahaa.

I haven't seen that since I was in 8th or 9th grade LOL.....

I'm not sure that I am buying into this calculation. I'm 5'8", 6" wrist which makes me a small frame. So, it says I should be 126-139. Last year when I was at my lowest weight due to anorexia I was 137 and I looked like a skeleton. I had literally no muscle, no fat, nothing. Now I am healthy again and not even close to 139, nor do I ever plan to get that low again. My goal is 150 with 22% bf, 5 lbs and 4% away.

I wonder what about me makes me not fall into this range though. Is it because I have a longer torso and it weighs more? Maybe because I have a large chest? I've never really fallen into any pre-defined weight range for my height and measurements. So, I guess I should just stop looking at them.

It told me I had sexy wrists. I'm inclined to agree.

5'4", Medium Frame; Ideal Weight 124 lbs - 138 lbs

I was thinking somewhere between 125-130 so that's about right.

    Frame Size Medium
    Ideal Weight 136 lbs - 150 lbs

That's basically what I get in other calculators like it too.
    My goal is 135.

Weird, I'm 5'8 with a 6" wrist, it gave me medium framed w/ diff weights
  • 6.75 wrist (large) I'm 5' 9" & says I should be 140 to 159. My goal was 140.

    Height: 5'4''
    Frame size: Large
    Ideal weight: 134-151Lbs

This is accurate, matches my "goal" scale number at the moment. My wrists don't have excess fat on them, skin n bone! Pretty neat calculator, too! I am petite and have a feminine figure but as far as my frame goes I am large not small for sure!
  • I'm Small-medium borderline between the 2. My goal weight is more toward the small size.

5'7" medium frame....145-150 which is what I am going for.

    Female.

    5'4" large frame 134-151lbs.

That sounds right. I was aiming for about 140lbs.

That was interesting. Most of the tables have someone my height closer to 120lbs, but I'm just far too skinny at that weight. I look and feel better around 140lbs.

    It says between 130-144#
    My goal is 133-136#
(Which is where I am right now, so YAY)

My real goal is actually a body fat goal. 21-23%

5' 9", large frame, 149-170 lbs. That seems pretty reasonable to me- my current goal's about 170, though I might try for 160 or 165 if it seems feasible. And large frame sounds right. My whole family is tall and wide, to the extent that my two older brothers played on the defensive line in football. I remember my pediatrician also laying my wrist over his at an appointment once to show my mom that I did actually have big bones (in addition to being a little overweight); my eight-year-old wrist was as big as his was, from bone to bone.

    Frame size: medium
    Ideal weight: 118-136

It doesn't match my goal of 140# but it's within the BMI range for my height (108-136). I picked 140 to have a number goal. The calculator might be accurate for the math, but it doesn't match with what I want to weigh.

Same exact results and same exact actual goal.
