I'm curious how accurate this calculator is.
Enter in your gender, height, and wrist circumference.

http://health.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Frame-Size-Wrist

What is your frame size and ideal weight?
Does your ideal weight range match your current weight goal?

example:
I am female, 5'8", small frame, and it says my Ideal Weight is 126 lbs - 139 lbs.
This matches my goal. :)

Okay, your turn.

I'm 5'5" and 248 pounds. My wrist is 7" it says I'm large frame and my goal should be 138-155 and my actual goal is 150. I know that my wrist is smaller than 7" when I lose weight so I seriously doubt I'm actually large frame.. BUT it also states that women 5'2" to 5'5" with a wrist over 6.25 are considered large frame.. I don't think that my wrist will be under 6.25 even at 150 so I guess according to them I am large frame... though I always considered myself to have a medium frame.

    Frame size: medium
    Ideal weight: 118-136

It doesn't match my goal of 140# but it's within the BMI range for my height (108-136). I picked 140 to have a number goal. The calculator might be accurate for the math, but it doesn't match with what I want to weigh.

I'm 5 foot 4 large frame and I set my goal at 150. It says ideal weight is 134-151 so I'm just within. Depending on how I look when I get there I may change my goal to 145.

I am medium build, and my ideal weight is around 130-145. My ultimate goal is around 140-145. I've always thought I looked my best just under 150.

    5'6" large frame, 140-159

I'd like to be 170 because I know I felt great at that weight before.

I am female, 5'5 and a wrist circumference of 5.75 inches, so I guess I'm small framed.
Ideal is 117 lbs - 130 lbs with my goal weight being 125 I'm fitting pretty snug. However it's always been very difficult for me to keep at 125 lbs and 130 always makes me feel so bad.

    5'1"

    frame size = large

    ideal weight = 125-140lb

This is pretty accurate for me. I was 130lb @ 22% body fat.... currently 135ish and bulking my way up to 140 (give or take... it's strength gains I'm after, not all that bothered about scale weight), body fat % is still in the low 20s.

but I'll still take body fat % over a calculator like this........ Someone's wrist size may not actually match their overall frame size, and if someone is very fat, and has fat around their wrists, that will confound the reading... wrist measurement is about the size of the joint, not any fat around the joint (large framed people tend to have larger joints)

I'm 5' 6 1/2 and weigh 130 so I'm at the very bottom of the range.

hmm I'm 5'7" I'm surprised, this is actually lighter than my original goal. I was aiming towards 150-140lbs Interesting

Mine says small frame (!). So I could lose 5-18 more lbs (current BMI is 22.7). I would be okay with 5, but historically if I lose more than that I get a LOT of negative feedback.

These frame calculators drive me crazy. I have a 5.8" wrist which is tiny but the rest of me is hour glass shape with wide hips and bust. The calculator puts me at a small frame but I do not have a small frame. I guess my goal of 130 is right at the top of their recommendation of 117 to 130, however, at 117, I would look ill. Sheesh!
