I workout very early. I do not eat beforehand. I like getting up, getting my workout done then consuming a protein shake. Why do you HAVE to eat before you workout?

If you feel full.. stop! Take advantage of that. Don't overstuff yourself. But why are you feeling full so soon? Are you hungry an hour later? Can you eat again at that time? Maybe your "half of a bowl" is more than enough.

The only REAL reason people cut off at 6 is because they save the calories they would have eaten past 6. Let's say you stop eating "past 6", and you used to eat 300 calories in wine and cheese past 6, but now you decided not to eat past 6, then you just saved yourself that 300 calories. I want to know how these "supplements/burners" work. Don't you notice they never say "how" they work? What are the effects on the body? They never tell you! Why?

I think it's because you need more calories for energy. The loss of blood and iron is probably hard on the body. I've noticed that if I don't eat enough calories, then my workouts are weak and "hard". When I'm fueled, they are fun, fast and easy!

it's fun. It's recommended to give the class at least 5 tries before ruling it out. You have to learn the moves and don't worry about what you look like. And don't stare at others. It's fun once you get the moves down! Good Luck! I do it every Wednesday.

Bump :) What if I gain on the scale when I increase calories but strength training gets easier? Is this good? Will the muscle get rid of the fat eventually? Do you increase your calorie intake "overnight" or gradually increase? <--- nobody has answered this question anywhere. I tried searching first, but no help.

Unflavored Unjury You can buy it online. It is tasteless and good for the calories/protein/carb factors. You can buy samples to test them out. But I think the flavored ones have aspartame. Why in the world would someone pay $130 for a protein powder Shakeology?? Are you insane?

Can't you fix your metabolism though? Get some books, if you have time. Educate yourself on how to repair your metabolism. I highly doubt it's ruined forever. Good Luck.

You haven't logged for days.. Also don't take the short cut with "cereal and milk". Measure and enter seperately. Who knows if that was .5 or 1 cup of milk with .5 or 1 cup of cereal. Don't forget oils that you may use for cooking. They count too. Are you measuring and weighing everything? Yes, you need some snacks. What about dessert?

If you must, Trash it. I've had to do that for someone that made us cupcakes. It's not worth the calories. They aren't going to know, but my sluggishness and tiredness and belly will know.

I always like to look, good or bad, especially when they want to publicize their story. I agree that they should open their diary if they are going to publicize or brag about their success :) Which bragging is a good thing here! I want to see how many calories they are consuming, ya know?

Ft7! You can upload to the polar website and join in calorie challenges. This is the basic watch but you can upload which makes it so much more fun! From my research, and one of my coworkers got the GPS and it did not work good. I don't recommend it. The Ft4 can't upload online to track all of your workouts.

SouthBeach High Protein bars are about 140 cals for 10g of protein. They are both tasty without "fake" sugars. The Nature Valley protein bars are good too, but they have 190 cals for 10g of protein.
