LOL.

I wake up at 5, I don't eat breakfast till 9. This is after I workout, take a shower, prepare my lunch and drive/arrive at work. Is it really breakfast anymore?

LOL... I'm like "why I don't I see this person posting?" I must have blocked him for rude, ridiculous and mean responses on other posts. and, No, I'm not talking about Monty.

Doesn't it have something to do with fat cells? Can't they expand and shrink and weigh differently. Your question is why do you weigh less in the morning if you haven't released anything in your body. It could be because of fat cell sizes, maybe?

That is what this FREE site is built for.. not what the forum is built for :) Use the database like the other poster said. Good Luck!

I wonder where you get this at? I also agree with the comment about 2 1/2 glasses instead of 2 full glasses. Do 2 oz per glass or something.

That's funny! Nice job!

Water :) I'm a huge wine drinker too. But I noticed small improvements helped. So cut back to 1 glass of wine with dinner. Yes, I know it's hard. Drink one glass then fill the glass with water instead of wine. AFter you have mastered that, you could also fill the 1 glass with ice and wine. The ice will help you get "more"…

It depends on where you live and where you go. Birds of a feather flock together. This goes true with healthy/active people vs. overweight/obese/unhealthy people. We got to healthier restaurants, therefore we don't see the obese people. I go to an upscale gym and a very nice grocery store, not many overweight people there.…

Congratulations!!!! I'm overweight based on the BMI scale. I throw it out! I'm 155 and 5' 1.5". I could lose about 5-10 lbs to feel and look healthier but unless I get to 130's, then I will still be "overweight" even though I will be comfortable and healthy with my body at 145. Throw the BMI scale out :)

Because everyone is programmed to blame everyone else for their failures in the US.

As for 1, Try it. Obviously eating more fattening protein isn't helping. If someone offers a suggestion, try it to see if it works, don't assume. Lean protein will help, because you could eat more of it (if needed) instead of eating less fattening proteins. As for 2, Try it. If you are eating the next day, it could be…

Thanks for sharing your diary, but I don't see any logging. More protein, maybe? More vegetables maybe? Get the most value out of what you are eating. Find a part time job that can take up the time on your non pool days or go to a gym on non pool days. That will pass some of the time.

We buy the bargain discounted meat. Every grocery store has a little section for the marked down stuff. At my grocery store there is one for the deli, meat department, dairy section, etc. Ask your local grocery store.

This subject is annoying. But I want to say, people have to listen to their bodies more. I noticed when I went down to 1000 calories and was working a lot. My work outs were so hard. I could barely make it through an hour. I felt weak. That's when I realized that 1000 calories was too low. If I can't enjoy my workout then…

You look awesome! Thanks for posting the pics, that's awesome!

It's more about what you eat than what you do. What you do is important for your health, but not for overall weight loss. That being said, I can't see your food diary. So I don't know if you are over estimating your workout calories and eating them back. If you are overestimating your workout calories AND eating them back,…

It's not "unhealthy" in my opinion unless you have a problem. I may have 1 "drinking" night a week, but that will only be if I have guest over or if I go somewhere. Other than that, I may have a glass of wine once a week. And I LOVE wine. But in order to lose weight I had to cut calories somewhere. That is where I chose to…

Nice job!!! Hard work and determination looks awesome!

I like Target workout clothes.

Your diary is open. I like looking at other's diaries for ideas. Your's looks decent. Do not be ashamed! I thought I was going to see McDonald's everyday or something. You are doing great! Try the oatmeal idea if you like oatmeal. The instant stuff is so boring and taste the same daily. This is tasty and different and…

No, Regular old fashioned oats, not quick ones. They do not have to be steel cut oats.

Just get back on track tomorrow! You can have an off day every now and then.. just don't make it an everyday habit. NO WORRIES!! You are fine! No guilt! You can always fix it tomorrow and you will because you already lost 8 pounds!

Go to the library and get some books. My husband has higher cholesterol, so I'm always looking into making better meals for him. He plays basketball as a workout. Now, I make him salads everyday for lunch and this oatmeal for breakfast. Hopefully, he can get off of the cholesterol pills! We've done it before! Oatmeal from…

Turn this attitude around! When you order a salad, make it the BEST salad possible and then brag about how yummy it is because of the fresh cut vegetables and the yummy croutons. That's what I do. Everyone at work thinks I'm crazy about salads and I make them fun. Every week I put in a different vegetable. One of my…

I tell people I LOVE my gym. No one ever accuses me of being addicted to exercise when I say that. I go to the gym 6 days a week and sometimes twice a day. It's fun!
-
That's a great response!
-
I totally agree. I never judge anyone at the gym. Before I clicked on this thread, my first response was "I'm glad they are there, plus it gives me something different to observe for the day, but I do not judge them". Keep it up! We need more people like you at the gym. The ones that judge others are not serious gym…

This might be because there are rules for putting 0g of trans fat on packages. Per serving as long as the trans fat is below, I think it's .5 order to put on the package 0g of trans fat. Even though if you ate 2 servings, then you could be at 1 g of trans fat and not know it. It's something to do with that.

Why is that rude? What do you have to be ashamed of? She is interested in your success. Don't be so sensitive :) It's a great time!
