Perfect answer.

Yes it's possible.

Vitatops Cran Bran rock! They are only 100 calories and 50% of your daily iron!

Make a tinfoil hat for me too! I'm a vegetarian, but this is a funny debate.

I eat carbs all day so I don't feel I need to eat them in excess at any one time.

I will never be able to thank my parents enough for telling me that if I didn't like something I didn't have to eat it. A lot of kids like hotdogs, and I didn't so I would never eat them, but this is an interesting article that makes you look at it from a different perspective.

Well, honestly, I would toss some of the water out of the cooler in order to make room for some fruits and veggies. Put one or two bottles of water in the cooler with some ice and when you take one out, put another one in. Then you can store some things that need to be kept cold or that you would just prefer cold (I think…

Been there, done that. Pretty tasty.

The Fiber One 90 calorie brownies are pretty tasty. I bought the chocolate peanut butter ones and I like them.

Hmm... have you tried changing up the sauce and doing something like pesto sauce instead of the red sauce and changing up your cheese to include something like feta. Maybe add some spinach and chicken to that? You could also swing by the grocery store and look for some soy sausage to chop into chunks to put on there. Or…

I set up little goals and when I reach the goal, I do something to reward myself. When I met my goal weight, I went out to dinner and bought some new clothes. My next goal will be finishing P90X, and I am planning a spa day.

You'll find a good amount of argument over this topic on MFP. I think that if your sugar is coming from fruit it's natural sugar and you also get vitamins and fiber so it's not at all the same thing as pouring white sugar from the bag into your coffee. So I don't see it as the same thing. I eat fruit to my heart's content,…

A multivitamin and sometimes calcium supplements if I don't feel like I have gotten enough of that throughout the day.

Add olive oil it some of your dishes

I carb it up! You actually need carbs in order to build muscle (in conjunction with protein). When you see a body builder during competition, they usually are fairly low carb at that point in order to shed some extra fat and show the lean muscle. But, most moderate diets call for about 50% of your daily calories to come…

I agree to eating at least some of those calories back. 1200 calories is the lowest you every want to go with your calorie intake to still be able to get all of the nutrients you need.

Macaroni and cheese....at least, that's what I am having!

There is no reason to include milk in your diet if you don't want it. Calcium fortified orange juice, calcium fortified non-dairy beverages, tofu and almonds are all great sources of calcium.
-
Well, most tofu needs to be drained before eating if you want a more meaty texture. Take your tofu and put paper towels on top and on the bottom of the block of tofu and place a cookie sheet with a heavy can or two on top to help squeeze out the moisture. Probably the best meaty texture I get from tofu is when I crumble…

Perfect advice!

Try calcium fortified orange juice instead of milk in the morning. Calcium fortified non-dariy milks are good too. I like the Silk Chocolate soymilk. You can also eat tofu and almonds. Hope that helps!

Be careful with those dark cocoa almonds if you don't like artificial sweeteners though. They contain sucralose (Splenda) and acesulfame potassium (Sweet One).

You are going to be doing so much walking around Italy don't you even think about what you're eating. Just have fun! Eat what you want and you'll probably come home a couple pounds lighter.

Oh my gosh... this sounds good!!!!

Lentil Chili with Cumin and Green Onions 2 tsp olive oil 1/2 cup chopped onion 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 Tbsp chili powder 1 Tbsp ground cumin 1 tsp dried oregano leaves 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (add more to make it hotter) 4 cups (or more) water 1 cup dried brown lentils, rinsed (I used green ones) 1/2 cup tomato puree 1/3…

I make lentil chili on the weekend (takes 30 minutes...super cheap and easy) and freeze individual portions so during the week when I want something quick, I can pull some from the freezer and toss it in my lunch bag with some rice or cornbread and some veggies.

Welcome! I also have a serious cheese addiciton, even though I am horribly lactose intolerant. It is just soooooo good.... Feel free to add me as a friend, if you want! :-)

Heck yes, I eat before I work out and soon after I'm done. You need the energy before so you can sustain yourself long enough to do the workout, and right after, your body is in a prime position to take in all sorts of nutrients. You have a window of time, and if you don't use it, your body will still recover, but slower.…

Mmm, I just made cornbread yesterday. Oh my gosh, I agree with you! It's tough to resist. I made a pan, cut it into 9 portions and stuck 8 of them in the freezer. Otherwise I would be snacking on that all day. I don't care about the carbs, but I don't want the extra calories if I don't need them.
