I'm doing it right now. I'm on Day 66. It's been amazing. I have abs all of a sudden. I've dropped 12 pounds and many more inches. To give you a reference, I went from a size 8 pant to a size 4 pant in those 66 days.

I do the Yoga DVD from P90X. It's pretty good.

I think I hit about 500 calories on that alone today.

Breakfast!

I agree with the person who said that they don't like it in coffee. I find it has a kind of funky taste, but I love it for tea.

Nuts and seeds are pretty high calorie and pretty low bulk. I would also suggest other sources of good fats like olive oil. I make a granola that I had for breakfast this morning that ends up with a pretty high fat content so it adds to the calories but doesn't have a super huge portion size that I have to choke down.

I make a buckwheat "granola" that I am having for breakfast this morning. It takes about 35 minutes to make, but one recipe makes about eight portions so I can spilt it up and have it for snacks or whatever throughout the week.

Amen! Me too! I don't even log it these days because it's so much a part of my calorie intake for the day.

...that I eat more now than before! I just eat a lot more whole grains, fruits, vegetables, beans, etc. and bring my food from home. I occasionally go out to eat to eat, but I choose smaller items like appetizers for my meal and get a salad too.

I'd also eat some more carbs this week. You'll need the extra energy.

Look at you, hot lady! :)

Dried fruit is a much more concentrated source of all of the nutrients in the fresh fruit. That's why a 1/4 cup is a serving of dried fruit but 1/2 cup is for the fresh stuff. 130 calories isn't all that bad. Think about the iron in raisins, the fiber, the natural sugars...mmm, mmm good!

Temperatures of foods and drinks like someone else mentioned is a biggie for me too. I can't stand the taste of hot chocolate. Not just the beverage from a packet, but brownies heated in the microwave, lava cakes, etc. I also can only have hot tea and coffee. And only cold water. Apples are best cold also. Applesauce can…

I eat a lot of beans and lentils. They're full of protein, fiber and iron, and you can have a pretty big amount for a pretty small amount of calories. I like cooking them with some Indian style sauces and pouring that over brown rice and serving with a side of some kind of veggies.

If you want to have it done more than once to see how accurate different people doing the test with calipers are, you might consider checking out a local sports medicine program or nutrition program. Generally, the students are taught how to do body fat analysis in their second or third year. I was taught how to do one…

I have had it done before. I was at 19% body fat.

I eat peanut butter when I am nauseous. I was taught that when I worked in a restaurant once. One of the waitresses was sick and one of the guys in the kitchen told her to sit down with her head between her legs for a few minutes. And while she did that, he asked if she was allergic to peanuts. She said "No" and he grabbed…

Awesome! I am in Colorado also!

Check out SunWarrior. It's brown rice based, and has an amino acid profile similar to a mother's breast milk so it's easy absorbed into the body.

I have a degree in Nutrition, and I can tell you I was a "traditional" student at the time. I was 21-22 when I was in my classes. However, we had a lot of non-traditional students as well, many people making a career change. I didn't go on to become a registered dietician because that wasn't my career goal (I actually work…

As others have said, a heart rate monitor would help. But I think the program suggests counting on burning about 600 calories per workout.

210 calories is too much for breakfast? I'm putting 460 calories into breakfast today alone. It's the most important meal of the day. It gets you up and at 'em and, as the name suggests, breaks the fast you were in during the night when you were sleeping. Invest a few calories! :) That being said, I often eat breakfast at…

I'm the same, and I have a heart arrhythmia which causes my heart rate to vary depending on levels of stress, activity, heat and just whenever it feels like it... :-) I'd recommend seeing a doctor to see if they can determine the cause, if there is any. With mine, they ran some tests and determined it's harmless.

The kids who are overweight know. They know they don't look like their slim family, siblings and friends at school. The biggest challenge with having an overweight child is balancing how to help them slim down without damaging their self esteem. Generally with a child, your goal is to maintain their current weight until…

This is why I don't eat meat anymore....

I am nearing the end of my second month (first round ever). Let me know if you need and tips, tricks or support! :)

A really easy dish to start your introduction to tofu is stir fry. Create your own sauce, sautee some veggies (your choice - use what you like), add tofu when veggies are almost cooked to heat through and serve over steamed brown rice. I like firm or extra firm tofu for this. Get a block of tofu. Open it up. Lay it on some…

I'm at a 6 now, and I just have wide hips so I think even if I lost ten more pounds (which it is not my goal to do) I would still need the 6 to get up and over those hips. ;-)

I prefer without. It's scratchy when I try to kiss a guy if he's got facial hair. I only care for it on my dad.

Carbs will help with energy. Protein and fiber will help you stay fuller for longer. Try steel cut oats for breakfast.
