I find that 'eating clean' is the easiest way to get myself to stop eating chocolate, processed foods and take-aways. I gain weight when I am lazy, when I don't cook from scratch and when I don't weigh my ingredients and control my portion sizes. I also have an office job and have to drive to work, so I don't get much…

I would just carry on the next day as normal - all part of the lifestyle change - sometimes we want to eat things which are high in calories. I try not to put too much pressure on myself.

I weigh everything and only cook when I need for the number of portions I am cooking. Portion control has always been a problem for me and this the way I ensure I am keeping within the limits. Sometimes if I am not sure I will put everything in to MFP and whether I can fit it in to my daily goals; if not, I cut back or…

I have breakfast around 7am and an apple at 11am. If I have any kicking around I might also have a punnet of something from Graze.

You can add me; my diary is open to friends and I log daily :)

I lost about 40lbs with MFP about 18 months ago and reached my goal but gained 30lbs back when I had to stop exercising and I got out of the habit of logging my food. Gradually the weight has crept back on so I'm back. Feel free to add me - I am motivated to get rid of this extra weight :)

I am back after having fallen off the wagon 10 months ago for various reasons, but I lost over 40lbs with MFP and maintained my lost weight and I know it works, so I'm getting this weight back off again. I'm 180 looking to get down to 147. I found that when I plateaued for a few weeks it actually helped to go over my…

Resisting the craving I had for something sugary and sweet and having a carrot instead. I knew that if I gave in and had something else, even though I had enough calories, I wouldn't have the will power in the future to pull through it.

The first time around (when I first joined MFP) I had a 'eureka' moment one day when I realised I was unhappy with my size. I haven't always been overweight, but I was very active when I was younger and ate exactly what I liked without any consequences. The moment I started a desk job the pounds piled on. I lost around…

I'm back again after a 10 month hiatus. I lost about 35lbs and was only a few lbs from my goal weight when I stopped using MFP and thought I would be able to keep the weight off. Gradually my weight has crept up again. Very disappointed with myself but I am determined and I know I can do it as I have done it before.
